How to become your own psychic and spiritual guru without current psychic powers.

First of all, there is no LAW or DEMAND for you to practice any form of spirituality at all if that feels foreign to you. If you don’t feel like it, don’t do it. If you are happy with the answers you’re getting now, you’re fine. If what you’re reading satisfies your curiosity, all’s good. You are not there for spirituality; spirituality is there for you. It’s a tool, something that will help you along the way, not something that you are there to serve. God doesn’t need you – it is perfectly capable of handling things without your contribution, but if you feel stuck, THEN it’s a good time to ask some questions and try to find answers for yourself.

Clarity or mysticism?

There is no real mystery to spirituality. People who are intrigued by the mysterious side of how it all works can get quite lost in that very thing: the mystery of it all. I personally don’t like “mystery” or mystifying things. If you want to add mystery to your life, you’re literally asking the Universe to confuse you further, please.

The clarity in the Universe is so immense that you can open your eyes to it, and you won’t be bored anymore. Trust me. You don’t need to blind yourself from the clarity of the truth to stay interested, nor do you need to complicate things to remain intellectually challenged. Therefore, examine yourself; do you want clarity of the truth or mystery and intrigue of the vailed unseen? The answer will tell you what kind of a psychic you will be; one that creates mystery or one that brings clarity and cuts through the mystery. You may logically agree that clarity is better, but the Universe doesn’t care about what your logical mind wants; it gives you what your heart wants; 100% of the time, without fail, but delivery times and methods vary. (This applies whether you do this or not.)

This is me; these are my tools.

The way I do things is very bare bones. I don’t pwaff around with creating protection spells or bathe my pendulum in white moonlight or such things. These are New Age practices that I have completely skipped. If they feel like something you want and need to do, listen to that need and find resources on how to do this part properly. Spirituality is a very personal thing. I personally don’t bother with them – if that’s a relief to you, continue on.

So, my spiritual tools are my tools, objects that I use for a certain purpose. While I love them and appreciate them, I don’t mollycoddle them or think they’re going to get mad if I’m going to keep them in the drawer the wrong way or lay them directly on a table. If you feel yours will be, treat them accordingly. While there is no mystery to it, sometimes things get a little funny in the spirit world.

It is often advised not to do any spiritual work while drunk or high. I don’t honestly know what it does as I’ve never used any of that stuff in my life. Still, it sounds like a good practice particularly for a beginner, as there are demonic forces out there, and they may be… Interesting. I like demons, don’t get me wrong, they are not EVIL-evil they just think about things differently than the light folk. And they do get pissed off, proper pissed off, unlike the light folk… For pretty good reasons, too.

I have a piece of advice for the demonic folk: Never lie to a demon, but be fearless. Look a demon in the eye, and you get what you deserve. If you don’t dare to look, if you’re afraid, tell them so. They respect truth much more than the light folk do. Light folk forgive liars. I also have to admit, I suppose, that I still haven’t really gotten over my annoyance of the angelic folk. They seem to have a freaking chip on their shoulder about stuff, and I just don’t like them, but you go whichever way you feel comfortable.

Ask for the right guidance.

In your mind and heart, ask the Universe for the right guidance and the right team to join you now. Be mindful that it may include people who you really don’t want around but who are necessary for your end result. Don’t be too worried about this; the Universe knows what you want to achieve, and it’ll bring you the right people. Just know that everyone who arrives is there for a reason – but not necessarily for the reason THEY think they’re with you… Or why do you think they’re there… Always keep your mind ajar for a different possible answer.

Remain critical; the truth doesn’t care whether you know it or not, and won’t grumble because you ask some questions. The truth is solid. It is what it is. You don’t need to know it for it nor avoid it to remain the way it is. Your view on it may change, and your idea of the truth may well change a lot, but the truth remains with or without your knowledge of it. Nothing else has worth but what is true.

Now, also… Is it OK if the spirit will tap into your sexuality, too? I wholly recommend you open this side up, too. It’ll be so worth it. It won’t change you into anything; it’ll just point out things you didn’t realize were there the whole time. In other words, it can’t turn you from straight to bi or gay, but if you think you are X, but you’re actually Y, it will point that out to you… And it will be good for you. (I thought I was a monogamist, but turns out nah. 😉 )

Give into temptations.

It is good for a spiritual person to give in to their temptations and follow where they lead. Obviously, if you feel that something is deliberately misleading you, just avoid it, but if the feeling is good and fun, even if it makes NO SENSE to do it, do it anyway. Like… The opportunities I’ve passed off on when spirit tried to tempt me and I said, “Naah, makes no sense to me,” like buying Bitcoin in 2009.

You will learn to recognize when it’s your spiritual guidance speaking and when it’s your mind wishing to tell you, “This is a good thing,” even though you don’t feel it.

Tests of ego.

The ego is your idea of your own self. Whatever you mean when you say: “I”. It is not a bad thing; we all have one. If you were to rid yourself of your ego, you’d become a mindless follower with no idea who you are: a zombie or a catatonic schizophrenic. Love your ego; just make it TRUTHFUL. Make your ego realistic. Look at it with a keen, merciless eye for even the slightest lie. It’s the best, most loving thing you can do to yourself, not to allow yourself to lie to yourself.

The fact they don’t have a body present doesn’t automatically make them smarter than you.

The spirit works in whatever way works for you, but I’m going to give you one more tip: The spirit guides given to you may not be smarter than you but rather represent entities that really need your help in the world. They may be full of questions you know the perfect answer to, and they’re hungry to hear… Giving you the perfect prompts for your website or social media… Possibly. But it may also be that you’ll need to figure out a few things before you teach if you will be called to teach at all. This is like asking for the Universe to dump the perfect school book on your head; whether is a first grader or a university-level course, or something in between remains to be seen. It won’t ask you anything more than your absolute best. 😉

Clear your mind of what you think you know.

There have been all kinds of hacks trying to solve the mysteries of the spirit, many of whom doing it for the worst possible motivations and reasons. There are people who are simply not very smart trying to outsmart themselves (just work with what you’ve got but don’t try to be smarter than what you are) and people who want to be PROVEN RIGHT rather than find out the truth. (Big difference.) There are people who were looking for money and power and found some because the spirit will give you what you want; a false prophet if you’re not ready for a real one. (It’s unlikely spirit would have guided you here if you want the truth… but it may also be an ego test; what do you think you are vs. what is real.)

Your Tools.

My favorite tool kit contains a deck of Tarot cards (Rider Waite), a pendulum, automatic writing (on paper and computer), and this part of my website. Currently, I only use the latter, my own website, as it’s like a huge Tarot deck with a ton of possible combinations that I’m adding to constantly. The Tarot and the website should be used approximately the same way. I’ll explain in a minute.

The Pendulum

I would start with this one, as it gives you an undeniable visual signal that someone’s listening. Remember, they’ll be there for a reason. (Even if just to scare the living daylights out of you so you won’t try this again too soon.) A pendulum is a pointy rock on a string that you can either devise for yourself or get one off eBay or something. Even if this was the only reason you’d get a pendulum, I’d use it to check that you’re not alone and talking to yourself.

You should tangle the pendulum down so that it can move freely but not move it yourself. Your hand will move a little, but you know you’re not doing it yourself. It’s very difficult to convince an on-looker you’re not moving it yourself, but you’ll know.

Dangle it down so you know what it looks like when it’s not moving. Regular physics. This is how it is when you’re still, and the stone obeys gravity as expected. Spend some time trusting that this thing is a regular stone.

Then, ask if your spiritual team is ready and knows where to go from here and for them to move the stone if they are ready. If the stone doesn’t move, thank your team anyway, put it in your pocket or wear it around your neck, and try again when you feel it’s the right time… Maybe even in an hour or two.

Once the team is ready, you can ask them Yes- and No -questions by letting them rotate the rock clockwise or anti-clockwise or maybe by swinging it back and forth. Ask your team to show you “yes” and to show you “no,” and then “ready” and “unknown”. The pendulum can swing around, left and right, up and down, or diagonally one way or the other.

You can have a short conversation with your spirit guides like this, but you can also move on to Tarot or the website if you feel tempted to. The website contains a user guide.

You can also print out (and laminate) an alphabet chart to go with your Pendulum. This will allow your spirit guides to spell out messages to you, and it can become a very effective way to communicate with them.

I used a small pocket-sized chart so I could take it with me everywhere, and eventually, I moved on to automatic writing on paper and then on the laptop, but you will be guided to these things by your spirit guidance. (My texts are my own, but written with a prompt from the spirit.)

The pocket alphabet is a mixed order, so you don’t start pre-thinking the answers and writing them out so easily yourself. The spirit doesn’t mind the order. It simply allows the words to form.

The pendulum will circle the letter it needs – once for one, and twice if the letter is repeated… As they often are in some languages. (Do letters repeat in English…?)

The word “TrEmoR” refers to True Emotion Mirrors. Tell your spirit not to accept false references to a TrEmoR.

Eventually, you may start hearing your spirit guides wherever you go without assistance, depending on whether this is good for you or not. (Makes you walk around with a stupid grin on your face because your spirit guides are being funny… Like ALL THE TIME.) While your BEST spirit guides are your TrEmoRs, not all of your spirit guides are your TrEmoRs.

Daydream like it was your new job.

Once your spirit guides are with you, it will become amazing to daydream a little. Good or bad, it’s good to imagine things before doing anything in real life. You’ll notice when they become like awaken lucid dreams when you know you’re being you, they’re being them, and you can experience things in minutes that would take years or months in real life. Don’t force it, but if you can, imagine things as much as you can – write fantasies down, indulge in the dream.

Ask anything. Anything at all.

You can literally ask the spirit for anything. Knowledge, power, money, whatever, but you know it’s all going to be listening. Depending on the grandiosity of your request, there’s going to be a proportionate response from the Universe. You’ll have to walk the walk, but whatever you want is out there.

God protests. The thing is, HE may not be interested in all requests, but he’s not the only power in the Universe. If the only thing you want is a Tesla, you don’t need God for the job.
