The Young Soul*play a bit rough for the Old Souls*’s liking
The Old Souls* are quite unwilling to play rough games like the Young Soul*does. It’s not that they cannot learn to, it’s just that it’s not natural for the Old Souls* to play too rough. If they can’t avoid the Young Soul* invitations to play, they may rather easily over-react and rather than join into the game, either run away or claw the dog types eyes out, depending on their options and how long they’ve had to tolerate the Young Soul* rough behavior.
The Young Soul*of people like to argue for fun. They play on dominance and submission, they test each other’s strength and craftiness, and they love to do things as a group. The Old Souls* doesn’t really play that way, they too have their games and amusements, but they are far less readily social and like to take their time to figure out which people they will trust near them. It will take the Young Soul*ome sensitivity to not play with the Old Souls* quite as rough as they’d play with other the Young Soul*, and the Old Souls* needs to learn to trust the Young Soul*to mind their freaking manners near them.
What no longer applies to a dog and cat analogy is the dog-type’s tendency of extending their rough play to scheming and playing people against others, which goes a bit toward a chimpanzee -way of thinking, but the Young Soul*is still playing with loved ones. The Old Souls* takes crowd control and acquires a dominant role in a group from gorilla-thinking; demonstrating competence and potential strength and power – but not oppressiveness, which a Old Souls* would never think to be a thing any voter (for instance) would think is a positive thing to be caught having. That’s where the game rules change a bit, but I think you get the idea. The Young Soul*does think demonstrating dominance (oppressiveness) is a positive thing from a leader, no matter how they achieve that image, but a Old Souls* would never think being oppressive/tyrannical is an admirable trait. THAT is what you can count on with these two types; the Old Souls* do not oppress even if they hate, but they may dominate (lead, command, but not force), and the Young Soul*may be oppressive and even tyrannical but don’t, ever, do it out of hate.
