You don’t stop being smart if you do “dumb things.”

Intelligence is largely marked by curiosity and the capacity to imagine. This then often leads to things that normal people would call childish or stupid. That said, even if you enjoy “dumb things” it doesn’t mean you suddenly stop being intelligent. If you know yourself to be intelligent, you don’t have to “hold onto your intelligence” by limiting yourself to “intelligent image.” Your brain won’t stop being intelligent simply because you also like simple, easy, even non-productive (heavens forbid, non-productive!) things.
