How to help a busy the Savants* without getting on their nerves?

There will be things that the Savants* will have left to no attention if they’re busy. That doesn’t include the state of their office or work area, however. It’s likely to be messy but you better keep your hands off it… You may be permitted to help with everything else if they love you enough. They are unlikely to accept help from people they don’t love because they won’t be willing to ever pay them back. The only way you can help a Savants* who doesn’t love you is to assure them that what you’re doing for them is unconditional; it’s for your pleasure and peace of mind, not theirs. They’ll allow you to make yourself feel better, but you cannot make them feel better about what they ‘have to” do. They don’t have to do anything; they WANT TO DO what they’re doing, for one reason or another. And if you try to take some of that load off, it’s like stealing food off their plate! This is their nutrition; they’re basically growing spiritual muscle. Don’t touch their fucking food!

the Normal Person* don’t really feel the need to be self-sufficient. They love feeling there’s someone else who will have their back in a pinch. That’s why they love being helped and done things for. That’s a huge difference – don’t try to love them the same way.
