When a person suffers – what each thinker type is after?
An Old Soul* thinker values personal freedom above all else. A healthy the Old Souls* thinker is a liberator, the person trying to give others enough space and opportunity to be themselves in the world; remove their limitations. When the Old Souls* thinker is suffering, they are demanding freedom from others and fighting to get away from people who try to hold them where they don’t wish to stay.
A Young Soul*thinker values unconditional love and lifelong relationships above all else. A healthy the Young Soul*thinker is giving unconditional love to everyone around them, giving homes to the homeless, nursing, and taking care of others. When the Young Soul*thinker suffers, they demand unconditional love from others and try to force others into nursing and taking care of them.
Outwardly, both fighting for one’s freedom and trying to force others to give unconditional love look spectacularly similar. The main difference is that the Old Souls* voice out, “Go away, leave me alone, mind your own god damned business.” the Young Soul* may argue over nothing specific hoping the noise they make signals they’re suffering and unconditional love is given to them to remedy that. Failing that, they may say: “Go away then, if you’re like that, if I’m too much of a loser for you, if you must be that selfish, if I’m too much trouble for you, if I’m not good enough for you…” The Young Soul*thinkers never assume they’d not be good enough for anyone they know because their love is unconditional, so they expect yours to be, too. This is what lands the Old Souls* into a situation where they’re screaming bloody murder: “Let me the fuck go…”
the Old Souls* turn into psycopaths, the Young Soul* turn into tyrants.
To get away from the people they don’t want to be connected to, the Old Souls* turn into psychopaths, who will distance themselves from all emotion, compassion, and empathy that would pull them back to the souls who love them unconditionally. THEY need to numb their conscience in order to pull themselves out of that soul bind. Sometimes this truly means serial killing and whatnot: “In your next lifetime, remember I killed you. Stay away.”
the Young Soul* turn into tyrants that try and control one person or everyone around them and force them not to leave them. They too can kill people to achieve this goal: “Next time, remember, if you try to leave me, I’ll kill you.”
