Testing Phase True Emotion Mirror
The Growing State True Emotion Mirror relationship will turn into a Testing Phase before full surrender. Have you ever tried to introduce two animals together into a shared cage or a pen? They go through this phase instantly, they fight, test each other, and find a balance with each other. With animals, this most often lasts no longer than a few minutes. Us humans are a little bit more complicated, particularly as we have been conditioned to think that if we fight, we are not in love. (I am one of the firmest believers in the no fighting rule, but I’ve had to revise my beliefs.)
There is a certain word of caution here. Sometimes people do INTEND TO break up the relationship before it gets too close because they realize they don’t want a life-long bond, let alone a bond that lasts several lifetimes with this person. If this is the case, the fighting will not stop until one of the partners back off and give up the relationship. This simply means that the other partner has decided from the start of the fight that they are not interested and they are doing their best to leave. It is hard to say what signs there are to tell whether or not someone intends to leave or to test the connection, but let’s just say the possibility is there that the other person is not testing it but is in the process of breaking it.
