When you feel they don’t trust you, they may not trust themselves.
There’s a point when something looks a bit too good to be true, you know? When your senses tell you that this person is in love with you, but you feel it would be a bit too amazing; you start questioning your own ability to see things straight. Maybe you’re telling yourself rose-colored stories, right? If you don’t encourage things at times, you may leave a lot of room for doubt. They may know, but not trust their knowing.
