Celebrity Incarnations…

I have a theory. This is not a fact, or at the level of certainty, I usually feel when I’m posting, just something for you to ponder on.

It seems that sometimes very charismatic individuals house more than one face, so to speak. While not having multiple personality disorder, they may still display more than one similar persona.

I cannot dispute the idea, that one person lives several lifetimes at once, in different parts of the world and different circumstances, being essentially like an actor shoved “as himself” in fictional situations that they improvise through… Right? Like you are given a new role to play, but you’re still you. And the circumstances change you somewhat, the way you behave, at least. Some aspects you have to suffocate as you enter a new situation and some aspects get more freedom and attention.

It seems that a celebrity can display everything they are either more freely than normal people, or less so, but if they are free to express themselves, you see many faces of the same person. Jim Morrison is the freakiest thing for me personally to see photos of. I can see so many people I recognize both personally and from other celebrities, like both Steven Tyler and Joe Perry in him, (Steven more obviously), Russell Brand, Sebastian Bach, Matt Damon, and three of my exes and one crush… Of the top of my hat. (And possibly Charles Manson and Ted Bundy both.) Even though some of these people lived at the same time, the fact one soul can split into several lives makes it possible for it to exist as a full representation of himself at the same time as less complete forms in others.

Still, you can’t really call many of these men “incomplete”, can you? So I don’t know if Jim Morrison was a community project of soulmates who wanted to help him overcome his stage freight and his hatred of being Jim Morrison… I honestly don’t know, but if it’s difficult to find some celebrities’ current incarnations, it could be that it’s difficult to say who they were when they were still alive. :p

And having said that, some celebrities are clearly reborn as they were without much of a change. Like Hermann Rorschach turning into Brad Pitt and James Dean coming back as Luke Perry. Brad Pitt and Hermann Rorschach are so obviously the same person, that everyone who I’ve shown the picture to, first say “that’s one of Pitt’s movies, then?” And I’m like nope. That’s Hermann.
