How the Young Soul* and the Old Souls* resemble each other

the Old Souls* have a strong sense of who they are as an individual. If their idea of who they are, who they love to be, falls into the ideal of some other group, such as “men” or “women”, they may seem like highly submissive the Young Soul*. As in, a Old Souls* man who wants nothing more than to raise a family may seem like a stereotypical the Young Soul*, same as a Old Souls* man who has honed his seduction skills to align with the Young Soul* woman instead of a Old Souls* woman. Then again, a Old Souls* woman may be highly sexual DESPITE the wishes of the society at large, but very much in alignment with sex-loving men. A Young Soul* woman, in all times before now, should act relatively prudishly, apart from the Young Soul* women who see their worth to have diminished to the status of a prostitute. That is not to say all prostitutes are the Young Soul* women, not at all, but the women who suffer being prostitutes are the Young Soul* women. The Old Souls* woman would never do it if she felt she was suffering for it.

As the Young Soul* feel joy for pleasing others, no matter what they must do in order to please others – whether they IMAGINE they are pleasing others or actually doing so, they may interpret a Old Souls*’s pleasure of doing what they want as pleasure of pleasing others. The Old Souls*, however, want to do both of those things at the same time: do as they want with someone who enjoys their actions the same way as they enjoy doing them. The Young Soul*, when they feel liberated and powerful, feel so when they please nobody. When they are absolutely abhorrent in their behavior and have every freedom of being so without anyone stopping them… Like a dictator-level leader. An the Old Souls* in that position would always seek to be kind to others and make sure everybody is served well under their protection. An the Old Souls* dictator sees themselves as the protector of their land and their people, not the only person with the right to destroy it and them.

the Old Souls* who thrive to give pleasure to their chosen people while receiving pleasure themselves can confuse the Young Soul* to no end. The Young Soul* do not understand mutual satisfaction, they can only see the satisfaction in the dominant/submissive counterpart, where the submissive is FORCED to submit, not given the freedom to do so. BDSM games don’t make any sense to the Young Soul*, because all of it is a play of pretending, where the submissive is always in charge, but many the Young Soul* are drawn to BDSM even though they don’t have the foggiest idea how it works. They will always overstep their mark, brat more than submit, and so forth. Only the Old Souls* know how to do BDSM or polyamory, but the Young Soul* are drawn to BDSM for the freedom to brutalize others, and to polyamory, because it gives them a community to be a part of… Even if it means they’ll have to prostitute themselves to others in order to be a part of the polyamorous community.

the Young Soul* will always try to blend into any group they want to be a part of, and they think the Old Souls* are doing the same thing. However, the Old Souls* seek for a group that already match their values, while the Young Soul* will change their external values to be a part of a group. The Old Souls* adjust their sharpest edges in order to keep peace in groups they have no other option than to adjust to, like school, churches, or a job, a family or another group – particularly when young, but the Old Souls*’ sharpest edges come out the older they get, the more money they have, and the more choice they get. The Old Souls* become less accommodating with age, and the Young Soul* become better adjusted to everything, albeit more than likely disillusioned with the lack of love they receive despite their best efforts to submit to other’s will.

An the Old Souls* in the right group seems well-adjusted like the Young Soul*, but the Young Soul* in the wrong group seems groveling and desperate for acceptance. An the Old Souls* who is truly in love with someone will behave similarly to the Young Soul* who is simply hoping that they will get love out of this person, but that doesn’t make them the same. The Young Soul* are quick to think they are loved by someone especially if that someone shows aggression toward them, which can happen between True Emotion Mirror pair of the Old Souls*. The Young Soul* are a bit quick to draw on the “I’m loved unconditionally” -belief, whereas the Old Souls* take a lot longer to accept they… MIGHT BE.

Still, often, the difference is a hair, and the Young Soul* are less likely than the Old Souls* to be able to even consider themselves in an objective light enough to see the difference. Despite my best efforts to have the Young Soul* self-assess themselves in a psychological test like the Old Souls* do without problems, the Young Soul* tend to choose the wrong category, but then again, the Old Souls*, can, too, but, again from a different perspective. The Young Soul* choose it “because I can’t be in the WRONG category!” the Old Souls* choose the wrong category “because I can’t give myself a compliment of being a Old Souls*, because THAT small thing puts me into the Young Soul* category”.

Speaking of dictators, I’m prone to put Adolf Hitler into the Old Souls* category, but most of his followers into the Young Soul* category. I believe Hitler’s situation was very… Troubled, but I authentically believe that his intentions were to improve humanity, not DICTATE it. I believe he did what he did in the genuine belief that some ugly things needed to happen for a better tomorrow, and he was wrong, of course, so incredibly wrong, but I do believe his idealism came from the Old Souls* category even though his actions were that of the Young Soul*. I also believe that a lot of what was happening in Nazi Germany was hidden from him by the Young Soul* followers who feared him and that he was operating largely blind to the events at times. I am in no way trying to sanctify what he was doing, just saying that he is a great example of a Old Souls* that seems to be the Young Soul* by his personality traits, when, in fact, he wasn’t.
