You can absolutely recognize your True Emotion Mirror in a photo.

While you can, without a shadow of a doubt, recognize your True Emotion Mirror from a photo, and if you find yourself drawn to doom scrolling Tinder, while you still swipe left continuously, don’t worry. You’re not insane. You’re just looking.

I’ve known people to recognize their True Emotion Mirror from a magazine photo without a warning, and without a doubt, feeling like electric shocked. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear a story in which someone starts LITERALLY hearing wedding bells when they see a photo of the right person. Nothing about TrEmoRs is beyond that sort of thing… But.

I also want to say that you can feel your real-life-known True Emotion Mirror is entirely different in a photo. They can look so strange, that you can barely recognize them in it even though you know that’s them and there’s his or her name under the photo, and you still take a second glance and a third thinking “they look nothing like themselves” because they’re not currently looking at you. Their face changes when they look at you, and this version doesn’t look familiar to you at all.

It’s a bizarre connection. But you know it always works out for you – eventually.
