If you find it difficult to win an argument with someone with adult logic, drop your level to that of a teenager.

… And, namely, a teenage girl if you’re arguing with a woman.

  • Point out how you are better than them by using “well, at least I am (not)…”
  • Use the phrase: “Well, you ain’t perfect either, are you?” a lot.
  • Mock their fashion sense.
  • Mock them as unfairly as you like.
  • Attack their insecurities if you must, and point out insecurities they should have, but keep it to earthworm level; looks, weight, their undyed roots, wrinkles, outdated anything.
  • Point out how the grass is at least a little bit greener on your side than theirs.

The point of this advice is that you may be stuck in a non-ending argument with someone because they don’t even understand your criticism of them. They know you’re “shouting,” and when they don’t understand you, they treat you like a crying baby. You have to then attack them at a level they can comprehend, even if it wasn’t really what you’re thinking. You can get petty here, and say the most childish things you can think of, just so they can get this message: “I don’t like (admire) you anymore. I’m too good for you.”

I’m not entirely sure how the logic of you admiring them goes if you don’t argue with them in a manner that they can understand, but it has something to do with “arguing over things that don’t even matter because you’re not really angry with them,” even if you’d be arguing over them having cheated on you, betrayed you, or being generally unreliable and narcissistic. They don’t understand those values yet (being a child/teenager soul in an adult body), so they think they’re all just you acting out to point out that you’re important, too, even if you’re not as important as they are. *sigh*

Morals of it? Meh, you’re already fighting and the cruellest thing you can do to a person is to leave them with an unrealistic self-image, so…
