There are generic, default rules in society, then, there are the rules that apply to your soul group only.
You and your friends can agree to live by standards different from those of the rest of society. If it’s OK for you to be called by names or terms or treated in ways that are not commonly accepted, that’s up to you. If you don’t like what another group of friends is doing, don’t do it with yours. If you don’t like what one group is doing, don’t join that group. Don’t try to force anybody to join your group if they don’t like your rules, and if they don’t like your rules, let them go. If they insist on pushing themselves into a group they’re not welcome to, do what your group does to unwelcome guests (within the laws.)
Even if you let someone (like me) teach you something, it doesn’t mean you have to live anything like me or do any of the things I do. You don’t have to accept my vocabulary, my ways, or fetishes, but whatever rules I suggest that get accepted by society at large, you kinda have to abide by. Make sure you know where my soul group ends and “the society” begins.
