Why is the truth of True Emotion Mirrors more romantic than the fairytale

They say there’s only one True Emotion Mirror for us all and that they are the other half of our own soul, which would then say that no matter what, these two belong together and will inevitably return to one another, whether they like it or not because, after all, you can’t escape yourself.

But that is not the truth. What is true is that each True Emotion Mirror is simply someone who you find very attractive – and what the original True Emotion Mirror theory probably describes was a love story repeated between two people over and over and over from one incarnation to the next so often that it felt like they’d met their other half, literally, and they kept repeating this love affair simply because they could not get enough of one another – even though both of them were free to leave any time they wanted.

A true monogamist has chosen to love one person forever, no matter what the situation, no matter what the obstacles, and they simply have decided that “my love, I will love you forever no matter what happens, no matter how awful my life gets without you, I will always love you and you alone and I will never fall for another person.” And all temptation is thrown in their way, all battle all fury, and the oath will be tested. “Truly? Do you truly love that person that much? I mean, should you?” The truest of loves will not sway, they will not even panic. They simply stay true to their lover knowing full well that they might not return in this life time.

Most fail waiting and trusting their own emotions. They marry someone else, have children with someone else, and, as true lovers do, they’ll be forgiven.

Now tell me that it is more romantic to think that there is only one possible love for us all, only one that is incapable of truly loving someone else, not because you are so amazing to them but simply because you are their other half and they have no free will on the matter.

Who do you love enough to stay loyal to them forever excluding all others?

And no, I do not make such vows, not anymore, because I need them with me. All of those who choose me over all other women although they are such amazing men they could have anyone they cared to point a finger at.
