Part #10: Market your stuff to people who have more money than you

You know when you struggle financially, the key thing to coax you to buy something is the price of it. The logical conclusion, thus, to make, is to lower the prize to the same level as you would be willing to pay – and then slice a tad off for good measure, and apologize for asking for so much, right? Sounds familiar? Yeah… From now on, please aim your efforts to people who have disposable cash. I know it maybe difficult to think how such people make their decisions to buy but think about it for a moment.

If you have a little extra to play with, you don’t necessarily buy based on the prize. You might not even buy based on the best product, but you might buy whatever someone brings right under your nose; the easiest thing available. These products may not have anything going for them except a great marketing team and a regurgitated idea, but they’d still make a mint in comparison to you. So you will have to get creative and figure out how you are going to beat the game against people who market to large audiences. One of the ways to do this is to up the prize. You can, should you have the game to do it, prize yourself so, that people will start believing that you are so sought after and so good at what you do, that You Don’t HAVE TO market to large audiences, so you will be the hidden gem among many mediocre marketers.
