Sex Worth Waiting For

We date with displeasure and expectation of finding nothing exciting and just more of the same disappointing and mundane that everyone is selling, right..? Today, I heard this amazing sentence that kicked things right into place for me – as innocent as it was, it was the hottest thing I’ve heard in a long time.

Someone wrote a reply to me on POF today; “I’ve been known to play with other men before (in the right circumstances)…” Hot hot hot hot hot..! Have you noticed, that the stuff that you find the sexiest, kinkiest, the most tempting… You would never do what you consider kinky sex with the wrong people or in the wrong circumstances? We can all have normal sex without blinking with just about anyone (unless sex itself feels kinky to you, and if it does, I kind of envy you a little) but the juicy stuff… THAT will be reserved for special occasions, special people… The Right Moment and The Right Mood.

It is because it is risky. It’s something you need to trust people with. It’s something that rips your insides open to be seen by the person you are with – the real you, unedited. And, you would not want to spoil the rush, either, by making it a have to instead of an occasional luxury you have only when the gods are favorable.

I just LOVED the phrase “in the right circumstances” so much more than such an innocent phrase should convey, and the vision of two or three guys in the shower after a training session rose to mind… Oh, My, God!! That, to me, is so much more exciting than openly gay men who are decidedly gay, who have a gay identity and who go through the dating scene with displeased air, frustrated, needy, and demanding. But that is exactly the way most of us (second rounders) go looking new relationships; Needy, difficult to please, and demanding our rights! Not Hot. Not even cool. Just wrong. I’ve been guilty of it, I know most people have been guilty of it, but that is NOT where hot sex happens, let alone true love. Doing right things at the right time with the wrong people who look right… Not good.

What if we all would just let go a little. Started thinking “in the right circumstance.” “I’ve been known to love men in the right circumstances.” “I’ve been known to fall in love in the right circumstances.” “I could see myself getting into a new relationship, in the right circumstances.” To summon the right circumstances to you through The Law of The Truest Wish, just by realizing that forcing things is not necessary, but amazing things will come around eventually.

And then, you just have to figure out what is so hot, so tempting, so completely delicious, that it deserves the right timing, the right people, and the right place to come about before one taints it with displeasure or disappointment..? What would truly be worth waiting for?

For me, there’s a world of kinky sex that I am waiting the right circumstances to arrive for, a few virginities to lose, still.
