the Savants* and closed clubs

I cannot stress this enough. Secret societies have always been formed by the Savants* to guard the intellectual integrity of whatever they are teaching from the hands of the Normal Person*, who love nothing more than erasing nuance and detail, philosophy, and spirit from everything they’re being taught, resulting into nothing but the irrelevant detail… For instance, breaking bread in the spiritual and social context would be reduced to simply the function of breaking bread as a social thing that a person does, symbolism removed.

No matter how noble the original idea of each secret society might have been, they will, in the hands of the Normal Person*, turn into a mechanism of power and control of masses.

The Normal Person* hate the idea of being excluded from something, so please mind where you mention the existence of this section of the blog, “it’s not for you” is not an answer. Also, know that if you give this to the Normal Person*, they might have trouble keeping it to themselves that they ARE a member of a “secret club”, and therefore they’re better than others, just to rub it in the faces of people who they want to annoy. The fact that the club is a secret is not meaningful to some of them in any other context than to make sure they themselves ARE a member, and the person they taunt is not. They will eagerly vow to not reveal the address to this site, too, only to turn around and shout it in the face of the next person they want to annoy by telling them the club exists but they’ll never tell where. But they will, once the price their friend is willing “to pay” for the information is high enough… “I’ll tell you what X told me about B if you tell me where the address is!” “Well, alright!”

Do not underestimate the level of stupidity of these people.

As you can tell, this is the section of the website where I will truly say how I feel, whereas, on the public side, I’ll have to mind my words a little bit, because, essentially, there’s NOTHING WRONG with the Normal Person*, they are simply despicable people FROM OUR perspective. From their perspective, they’re awesome fun and have every right to be that way, but there are some things that WE need to know and discuss in order to make this world a better place DESPITE the constant obstruction and resistance of the Normal Person*.

For one thing, the Normal Person* respond to EMOTION ONLY, and they are VERY SENSITIVE to emotion, BUT they will misinterpret the emotion 9 times out of 10. Your words don’t matter. You can say whatever you like and they will ignore it if they’ve got it in their head that the emotion they sense out of you is *like so*. An Savant* will listen to your perspective no matter how perceptive they are, and you disagree with their observation, they’ll take your word for it, at least on the surface level. The Normal Person* does not. They will endlessly accuse you of “having the wrong emotion” that they don’t like, or “not admitting to the right emotion” that they want you to express. What is worse, often the argument, to them, is a social thing, and a confirmation that you are “intimate friends” in terms of “no pretense” and they take it as a compliment that you trust them enough to show anger to them. The source of the anger, of course… Is a mystery not worth solving to them.

They are bullies and bastards and respond to any strong emotion, including hatred by seeking more of it. Therefore, if you are passionate about any cause, they will keep you talking endlessly and endlessly and endlessly about your topic, simply because they love the fact you pay attention to them, even if they have to purposefully annoy you to get a reaction. Therefore they seem to never learn, and they have no reason to learn, they have their world the way they like, and they think getting you on your soap box is freaking hilarious fun… So they don’t even try to understand what you are saying, they are only concerned about what phrases and emotions set you off on a new rant.

Before moving any further, would you sign up on this secret list for the Savants* only in case I have to relocate this section of the blog in case it’s been found by the Normal Person*? (I’ve got a clever system going for that…) Please note that if you subscribe to the Normal Person* newsletter on this site, I will remove you from the Savants* list, accepting the real possibility that my elimination systems might fail. (If you REALLY want to join the Normal Person* list, use a different email address… Most the Normal Person* can’t handle owning more than one email address anyway. 😀 Quite frankly the Normal Person* list is there mainly to use it to unsubscribe self-identified the Normal Person* from the Savants* list should there be a situation when the Savants* list is compromised.)
