the Savants* are the elders of the world
The society has always been divided into two groups, whether we have been really conscious of what is going or not is another thing. I am certain, that some religions are very much based on this division of the two; creating clear structure and rules for the Normal Person* and creating a “shunning” system for the Savants*; once you are ready to accept that there is something wrong with your character, and you are strong enough to risk the outside world, you are old enough to leave. In my opinion, shunning is too rigid and scary but makes perfect sense to me to have been put in place to protect the Normal Person* from the scary, big world that the Savants* create and enjoy.
The Normal Person* are at the stage of the development, where they wish that there are clear rules in play, and everyone plays by the rules. They don’t understand why someone wouldn’t want to play the game or why you’d want to change the rules or do things in your own way; they prefer clear structure or they fall apart, like water poured out of a glass. External structure and belief systems are the sanctuary and they attempt to twist all the Savants* thinking philosophies (there is no other kind) into rules and regulations, to create a structure they can live by. All of this goes very much against the Savants* thinking ideology; everyone should be free to be what they want, but at the same time, the Normal Person* are not able to do that; their personality isn’t structured enough to say what or who they are yet. They are what they are told to be, and that’s it. They change their mind by the wind because they don’t know what they want, who they are or where they are aiming to, unlike the Savants* who are the elders of this world.
The less religions there would be in the world, the better it would be for the Normal Person* – and the Savants* alike, but the Normal Person* NEED ONE RELIGION to trust and obey, because they cannot tolerate differences of opinion, all difference makes them nervous and that makes them want to war against people who have different belief systems. They want to include everyone into one, and that makes them want to kill everyone who opposes the unifying process of “teaching others how to become me so we can be friends”.
The Normal Person* need to be trained to accept different kinds of people, and to respect personal freedom and choice. Although these are already values that are well accepted in the society, the Normal Person* still think that it is acceptance of mental illness rather than accepting that healthy people can think about things in very different ways and still agree to approve of each others perspectives, and how different opinions can live side by side without it having a devastating effect on the society.
Teaching the Normal Person* is tricky business though. They are very new to this world, still, and they tend to mix two unrelated things and cannot make sense out of two things that sound similar without very clear explanations. They also forget these explanations as soon as you move onto something new. For instance, if I tell them that there is only one truth; the truth is absolute, there cannot be more than one truth, they cannot, simultaneously comprehend the idea that there is more than one way to live a life, and there is several opinions that can be simultaneously equally valid, because they cannot separate the words “truth” and “personal preference” from each other. In their mind, there is no such thing as “personal preference” there is only the right way to do things and the wrong way to do things. The less they would know about the ways the Savants* think, the better it would be for the world. I feel strongly that they should be treated like children, protected from the perils of the world, and given new information at the level in which they can comprehend while trying to prepare them for the adult world.
I had an illuminating dream the other night. I was in the mind of a strong the Normal Person* in a zombie apocalypse. In her mind, I was a miracle worker, who could get out of ANY situation at all like they do in the movies, without realizing that a smart person wouldn’t have gotten into that situation in the first place, as they’d be able to predict it happening. In the scene that I saw, I was with a pack of dogs, well trained, soulmate dogs who did respond to me without a flaw – the dogs were brilliant, but I was surprised on a gravel road with those dogs with nothing to protect me but a row of bushes that weren’t thick enough to safely protect me. Behind me was a choice of a forest probably crawling with zombies and a plain field, open to shooting and chasing and nowhere to hide. I had retreated to the road at the sound of motorbikes and yelling; one of those people you don’t want to come across during a zombie apocalypse. (I am obsessed by the idea of zombies, I absolutely adore zombie movies, hence the dream! :D) The character in the dream was still me, but from the point of view of the Normal Person* friend of mine who has a very peculiar opinion of me. I was as she believes I am, and now, I was left to deal with what I had in my use. There was nowhere I could move after retreating behind the bush I retreated to, I was on foot, no guns, armed only by a knife. There is NO WAY I would have ever put myself into that position if there was a real zombie apocalypse. 😀 My friend, however, expected me to clear that danger with no drama. She views me as a miracle worker, because I, as a Savants*, can always foresee a problem before it arises, and I, without thinking, avoid all major problems, particularly with people. She regards this a super power. I could not solve the problem in the dream because I had gotten myself into an impossible situation by being dropped into it like a fool, and I woke up annoyed about the whole affair. I must say the fear factor in the dream was phenomenal. In reality, I feel zombie apocalypse would be quite fun and entertaining because it would require smarts to survive – the exact opposite of what happened in my dream. But what I learned was how LITTLE the Normal Person* can understand about other people. Everyone is unpredictable. Energetically, I felt like all people were simply empty shells with no real character inside them, because if I didn’t know them, they all looked the same to me. The only people that I could separate from the mass would be those who I had made a connection with and proven to be safe. This is the way the Normal Person* sees others; there are people I know and people who I don’t know, and I cannot let the people I know go because I have to replace them with people I don’t know and I have no idea how to do that.
