the Old Souls* and the Young Soul* thinking will become less defined in the future
the Old Souls* and the Young Soul* thinking definitions are dependent on there being a clear public, all-inclusive societal or cultural expectation where you’re born. The choices must be either taboo or virtually unavailable. The people who adapt well to the established culture are the Young Soul*. The Young Soul* are simultaneously able and willing to put their own feelings aside just to fit into what is expected. The Old Souls* are not. They are rebelliously seeking their own tribe, or are trying to “sneak out” of the majority cultures’ crip, or actively working to dismantle it.
Once freedom and choice increase, the difference between the Young Soul* and the Old Souls* thinking diminish. As it becomes A NORM for a person to seek their own tribe, the Young Soul* must also accept that norm. The FASTER a Old Souls* NORMALISES unusual behavior, the better it is for the Young Soul* and the faster the change. This is also a good test of what a person truly wants – some people are addicted to rebellion itself. They feel nervous if someone isn’t against what they want.
When nobody resists you, you will have to make a real, conscious, independent choice of a lifestyle, rather than following a rush of rebellion. A lot of mildly homosexual couples, by the way, are together ONLY because it is not approved in the society. Once the gay marriage laws pass, they’re done with it and move on. Curiously, they are also possibly the Young Soul* who are addicted to the strong group mentality of an activist group, and once that group is no longer needed, their interest in it also diminishes.
As freedom of choice becomes the norm, these differentiations become completely or near obsolete.
