Dream interpretation
There are dreams that are non-sensical at times. They are simply images and thoughts or events clashing together in a brain that doesn’t control them because it’s too tired to organize them. There are dreams that are simply rehashing something that happened earlier, they mean nothing fancier than that – unless you feel like they do, and that’s the key to picking a prophetic or meaningful dream: You FEEL that it means something.
I believe in a previous life of mine I’ve put together a dream interpretation guide or two. :p Now, I’ll tell you they’re not really worth the trouble, much like reading Tarot cards, dream interpretation should be very intuitive and flow from your subconsciousness mainly. You should trust that the dreams speak to you in a language you understand OR another person who you know to interpret dreams, someone you are likely to ask.
Dreams are sometimes given to you by another person. You don’t have to agree with all of them. You CAN disagree with your dreams.
Sometimes, you have dreams that give you a type of a preview of how things would feel if you would do as in the dream, such as date this person or befriend another. Sometimes, you like the feeling, sometimes, your skin crawls (but you can’t end the dream).
Meaningful dream
I would try and remove as much of the mysticism as you can out of your dream interpretation. These things are amazing enough without mystifying them, and the less mystique you hold onto, the clearer your visions get. If you don’t seek to be confused by your dreams, clarity is the other option – and why would you want to see things just to be confused, anyway?
So, take a somewhat of a matter of fact attitude about your dreams. How did they feel? Who was in it? What do you THINK it meant? Have a clear thought about what you think the dream meant (think out loud as if someone was listening to your thoughts) and then ask for a new dream if you got it wrong or if you need more clarity about a detail.
The point is, the dream SHOULD speak to you in a language you understand. It makes no sense to give you a dream you can’t interpret for yourself UNLESS you really want to speak to an interpreter. 😉 That’s the mystique part, if you want the mystique, it can be hard on your wallet. ;p
There’s really nothing to it, just decide to have your dreams differently from now on, and see what they tell you. 🙂
