The Universe doesn’t make mistakes, but people do

I am not quite sure how I feel about this rigged game myself. We are all poised to win in the end. The Universe has rigged the game in our favor, and it doesn’t make mistakes – but people do. You are always within a day’s distance from a winning path – more or less, but that doesn’t mean you’re going to be taking that path – or that the path, once you’re on it, is going to be a short one. But on your way, there are people who make mistakes, bad mistakes, and they’re seemingly making your progress slower. However, they are on your path by design, not by accident.

I am not saying there is a god. I mean, there are gods in this world, but they’re not really gods. And Universe is not a god, it’s an energy. It organizes itself like a bubble of water in a vacuum, it simply does what is its natural quality; organize itself for the best. It doesn’t think about it, so “intelligent design” doesn’t really apply, but it’s more of an emotional design. “This feels right”, but I’m not one to speak on behalf of the Universe. How would I know how it operates? Anyway, if you’d ask it, it would say: “all’s fine,” like that Chinese guy I emailed complaining he’d sent me the wrong gemstone: “Don’t worry, we don’t make mistakes.” Turns out, it was the right gemstone, just a cut from a part I didn’t like. Anyway.

In the attempt to organize itself toward perfection, the Universe cannot always BE perfect. Certainly not the part that Earthlings inhabit! We still have a free will, and we will mess things up. We make mistakes and we make big mistakes, and as a society and a global community, we make humongous mistakes. The Universe, however, factors that in. It crosses the paths of people whose mistakes will help us grow; at the end of the day, there’s a reward… bigger than you expected, because your trials were bigger than what you wanted… And if you want to clear all obstacles, all obstacles will be put in your way.

Earthlings, this includes ALL life on Earth, are a curious bunch of creatures, too. We like a bit of trial and tribulation. We bore easily. We’re here because we’re a bunch of sick puppies, my fellow Earthlings, sick puppies! We don’t like peace and harmony much. We love a bit of pain with our pleasure. We’re probably isolated so far from others because what other intelligent creature would want to hang out with us whack jobs? 😀 But we love this. We love being the way we are, and we get to be what we are for as long as we like it because the Universe thrives for perfection and happiness. Our task is to find exactly what kind of concoction of pain and pleasure is the very ticket to happiness and excitement for life – perhaps without killing anybody, but then, no point being too serious about that, killing and dying is just the way some Earthlings like it. “The shark hypnotized me as he bit to my flesh – it was like I wanted it…”

However… People make mistakes. Some of us make massive mistakes, but all of us make some. The less aware we are about our tendency of making mistakes, the more we make them. The more we try to stop ourselves from making mistakes, the more we make them sometimes. :p Not understanding the circumstances, avoiding following a spiritual instinct “because it’s bogus”, and trying to avoid mistakes is a recipe for a disaster.

The way the people around you make mistakes is the way you’ll learn to avoid situations that lead to the trouble people like that cause in you. The more bogged down you feel, the more likely there are very typical situations that make you fail. You have to study those things in you and always remember this: Even when it’s not your fault, it’s still your fault. You haven’t figured it out yet. You cannot change other people, (by much. Like you can force them to give an inch, but then they return back to the way they were,) but you can change yourself for good. You can become more aware, and you can teach yourself to react to others in a different way. You can make yourself phenomenal – but you can do very little for others.

The best thing you can do about it is to blog and hope one day someone might find some use for it. ;p
