True Love is not about not having relationship problems, it’s about being worth sticking around for them

I just kind of woke up to having an issue with being pampered and my True Emotion Mirror having an issue with not being able to pamper me. After a longish conversation in spirit about the matter, I started laughing about having relationship issues with THAT GUY, and another one, who is also the kind who blows my mind to even have had an opportunity to speak to. I’m like fuuuck, dudes! I’m used to having relationship problems and bailing out on them, and I’m used to people bailing out on me, but heck, I’m here having relationship problems with YOU!

You know, to have issues with someone worth sticking around for. Someone who you love and admire so much, that I’d feel mind-blown to think they know my name. I remember the time when that other guy referred to my mother by her first name, and I’m like FUUUUUCK! You know my mother’s first name?! You CARE about ME so much you remember my mother’s name, I mean, holy fuck! Granted, she comes up in a conversation a lot, but… Still.

The difference between true love and bs love is not the lack of problems

The difference between your true love and other people is not that you don’t have problems to solve with your true love. It’s not about everything flowing effortlessly in place with no drama. Not about angel choirs and wedding bells ringing in your head. What it’s about is that this person is worth sticking around through those problems, and you feel honored to have THAT PERSON to have issues with!

True love is also having people who are worth being forgiven because your life sucks without their stupid ass in it.

True love is not being a good lover or a good person, either

Having fallen in love doesn’t make you a good person. In fact, it so very often brings out the worst in you. But the point of this post is not that if someone is in love with you and has problems with you, they do not get to say you’re a bad lover if you don’t sort out those problems with them. Not everyone is worth the time it takes to sort out shit with them. Walk away freely. The whole awe of this thing is that there are people worth all the drama in the world for you, and then there are those who are not.

Be sure you know the difference for yourself.
