Where the Normal Person* and the Savants* fit in society?
Both the Normal Person* and the Savants* have a clear role in the society. They are TERRIBLE in direct interpersonal relationships as equals, romantically, they are a disaster when mixed. They should never parent each other but oh so very often do, and it would be great if they never made friends, but, both still have a clear role in the whole scheme of things.
The following will be scary for the Savants* who are TERRIFIED that this model will descend the world back into tyranny, oppression, and elitism, things the Savants* have worked to eradicate for many millennia. And now, I’ll ask them to become hypocritical… And take charge.
Evolution vs. Stabilizing Forces
the Savants* are the creative, innovative, evolving part of humanity. The Normal Person* are learning, repeating, establishing, and most importantly of all: A STABALINZING force. They are the freeze to the Savants* water mold. The Savants* have to create the mold and put water in it, and let the Normal Person* take care of preserving the form… PERFECTLY, as only the Normal Person* can. We just have to make sure no the Savants* is there rocking the boat and innovating, and that the mold, to begin with, is good enough. We also must make sure that when the structure is put in place, the Normal Person* understand that there is a protocol for their most dreaded thing in the world: CHANGE.
If it quacks like a duck
the Normal Person* need not be forced to follow protocol once they feel their OWN position is established. Then, they’ll do anything to keep their established position and force others around them to adjust to the already existing. They do not change routine easily or willingly. This makes them BRILLIANT at repeating a protocol, without deviation. It just is that they need to be trained to NEVER EVEN ATTEMPT to teach a Savants* to do the Normal Person*’s job. The Savants* are wired differently. They create the rules that the Normal Person* are preserving, OR they are completely out of this particular route and work as entertainers, artists, and refreshers, so to speak; the ones who AWAKEN people to a problem or a question, rather than solve it.
the Savants* may need time to fully mature. They can be superbly smart and beneficial to the greater community, but they are rarely given this time to mature given that the Normal Person* are currently doing both their own work AND the Savants*’ work, and try to force everyone to take their position in the machine at the age of 18. This is about 30 years too early for some the Savants*, who have a special task to perform As Ordained By Who They Are.
the Savants* are the thinkers and planners, but they are often terribly bad at execution. They need people they can tell the process to, and they always need to inform the Normal Person* of exactly what to expect: “This plan is great, but it may need adaptation. PREPARE YOURSELF to changes before we can put this process fully into place.” the Normal Person* hate changes, especially when given the impression “this is the new forever”. Never tell the Normal Person* something is permanent unless you are 100% sure it is. Sometimes, that isn’t the case, but the Normal Person* hate to stop and start again, the Savants* are merely annoyed by it. They are used to being in the creative mode, which means a lot of stopping and starting to perfect the work they’re doing. All the Normal Person* see is wasted effort.
Command chain
the Normal Person* also suffer from a change of power. So every 4 years, in the United States, the President is going to change everything over and the only good thing about it in the Normal Person*’s perspective is that they can see it coming. They’ll know: if the President is a Democrat, this will happen, if the President is a Republican, this will happen. The Normal Person* don’t REALLY CARE who is in power, as long as the chain of command is clear and well established. The Savants* should also not teach the Normal Person* party loyalty, as that is unnatural to the Normal Person*, and creates wars and upset. You can trust the Normal Person* to turn coat unless they’ll lose friends over it. This is a great skill in the Normal Person*, but often abhorred by the Savants*.
(In professional sports, you should never ask a Savants* player to change teams. Change of teams, to a Savants*, will make them lose their PASSION for the sport. They accept it as a part of the job, but they hate it and a team they don’t TRULY love won’t truly get their full effort. The Normal Person* will adapt to the change easier, they’ll rebel like hell at first, but then, once the new group has bullied them in, they’re as devoted to the new group as the old.)
Political Examples
Speaking of political parties, it is a fight between the Normal Person* and the Savants*, often, but in mixed groups. There are both the Normal Person* and the Savants* on both sides, due to party loyalties within families, but Republicans are largely the Normal Person*, and Democrats are largely the Savants*. However, as I said, there are both in both, and the Savants* like the Republican focus on innovation, progress, development, and business, the competitive side to Republican policies, whereas they hate the side dish of religion, abortion laws, and focus on monogamous marriage and lack of social conscience in health care and education. Also, Republicans’ attempt to put the choice to the individual is very the Savants*, whereas otherwise the Savants* ideals of social responsibility, is well-received by the Normal Person* who focus on families and regular lives. Although the Democrat party doesn’t truly benefit the Savants* in any way, it attracts the Savants* who feel the burden of social responsibility falling on themselves.
Worker’s Unions are profoundly the Normal Person* organizations often run or founded by the Savants*. The idea is certainly the Savants*, but the execution is profoundly the Normal Person*. Workers’ Unions are probably the one of the BEST examples what power the Savants* led the Normal Person* organizations can achieve. Certainly in other countries than the USA, Ireland, or France, where things can get a bit out of hand at times. Effective negotiation tactics, for sure, blocked roads and refusing giving service until demands are met. 😀
No room to shine
Scandinavian countries are a great example of a government established by idealistic the Savants* but taken over by the laborious the Normal Person* over the years. This means that while the system works quite nicely as it is, the Savants* are often stuck in the welfare system with nowhere to go. They can create in peace if their costs are minimal, and they can make it in business if they get lucky, but there is often quite a lot of bureaucracy to be dealt with which is not great if you’re a Savants*.
The ideal system for both groups (work in progress, obvious)
It is to be said, that the Savants* should have funding for their unemployed, because not only do the Savants* need more time, they need more freedom to do what they do than the Normal Person* do. The Savants* “incubation period” should be fully overseen and sponsored by other the Savants*, preferably through donations and early investments on individuals, on top of some kind of base funding for the purpose of the Savants* developments, be it physical, political, philosophical, artistic, scientific, spiritual, or business innovations… Or whatever their genius mind produces, mind you.
the Normal Person* workforce and salary
the Normal Person* should not be given an unemployment fund at all, but there should be SOME WORK for the Normal Person* to do so they feel useful no matter what. It would perhaps be best if they could get a job directly from school, and be then allocated new tasks as they progress, by the Normal Person* for the Normal Person*. They do love certainty over anything else in this world, and they want to feel SAFE in the knowledge that their work will be appreciated and there’s always a position for everybody in the system. The Normal Person* are also very mindful and understanding toward limitations in skill, and they NEVER forcibly attempt to promote people beyond their capacity, UNLESS they work in a competitive the Savants* environment. When mixed with the Savants*, terrible things happen in the Normal Person* psyche. ;p
the Normal Person* salary should probably be increased by each decade on the workforce and DIMINISHED only if they miss days at work for any reason… Incredibly, even illness. (They’re a robust bunch.) So, effectively; miss a day of work now, and your salary for the next decade will be less than what it would be otherwise. Also, give them a chance to make up for lost time working overtime. Their salaries SHOULD NOT be altered by skill level, only devotion levels.
the Normal Person* and the Savants* mix well in some areas as seeming equals
The only places where the Savants* and the Normal Person* mix rather well is military and professional team sports – with the exception mentioned before. In these environments, the Normal Person* provide a CHALLENGE for a Savants* to conform to a form and protocol, where everywhere else the Normal Person*-based challenges are not usually welcomed by the Savants*. They can rise to the occasion, sure, but they won’t be thanking the Normal Person* ANYWHERE ELSE except sports and military. Perhaps at a University -setting a pushy the Normal Person* will get a young the Savants* to thank them for being a pest, but an adult the Savants* is rarely appreciative of the Normal Person* attitudes no matter what the results may be.
Never force an adult the Savants* to work for the greater good (they do it without force, anyway)
An the Savants* should never be put under pressure AFTER being already released from underneath it at some stage of their lives if you expect them to thank the oppressor for “believing in them”. Once a Savants* asks for their independence, particularly if they start screaming for it, let them go. And I say this after FULL KNOWLEDGE my the Normal Person* oppressors in spirit squeezed out a theory that will heal the entire world and make me the biggest hero in human history, and I still feel like decapitating the lot of them. It’s just that they waited until I was too old to start applying pressure. Then again, if I had been younger, wouldn’t have had the life experience required for the job, but even knowing full well the problematics, I am as angry as I’ve ever been for their obstinant sense of entitlement to my skills and time… And their LACK OF RESPECT to the fact I have never WANTED to do anything but right by the people, no fucking force required.
The danger of miss-categorizing
There is yet another danger to this model. The Savants* children of the Normal Person* parents, more than the Normal Person* children of the Savants* parents. The Savants* can see what’s best for their child from a heart-felt position, but the Normal Person* tend not to understand their the Savants* child or their distress or moods AT ALL. Therefore, the Normal Person* parent is very likely to try and push the Savants* child into the guaranteed work -line, despite it being a bad thing for them. To the Normal Person*, the Savants* world is stressful and full of uncertainty, and they wouldn’t want that for their child. To a Savants*, the ideal the Normal Person* world is stressful and endlessly hopeless and dark, when to the Normal Person* it is full of promise of inevitable happiness. Therefore, the system must protect a Savants* from winding up into the Normal Person* workforce and vice versa. There always must be a way for a Savants* to self-elect for a Savants* line of work, BUT they must first prove themselves to be one… And vice versa.
It is to be noted that the Normal Person* reacts to a new (unexpected and unfamiliar) situation with aggression, whereas a Savants* withdraws and tries to understand the rules before they act against them. The Normal Person* first act against the rules to understand them. The Normal Person* seek for their boundaries by rebelling against the rules on purpose, while the Savants* keep a good distance between themselves and breaking the rules as long as they feel the rules are justified and fair. This means a Savants* MAY go rather deep into the Normal Person* system before realizing they’re actually a Savants*. This could be used as a safety measure; if someone shows too much malleability, the Normal Person* should be instructed to send the employee to the Savants* camp to see if they’re actually a creative, not the Normal Person*. Young the Savants* are typically non-rebellious and obedient, which can be deceptive. They seem to lack the enthusiasm and drive to fit in, or it may seem fake and ass-kissy.
The Normal Person* in the Savants* camp will lack direction, they’ll keep asking what they should be doing, they seem nervous and sometimes confrontational. Prolonged, they’ll feel frustrated and like they have too much space to fill up – they feel the need to fill a mold, but if the mold isn’t there, they feel like they are LACKING and INCAPABLE. The test should then be done to give them a very structured, clear-lined, well-defined routine task, and if they fill it gladly, promptly, and perfectly, they’re the Normal Person* and need a different line of work. This should be well established at school, but just in case.
The Mixed Alignment
Then, there are the people who are quite at the crossing point of Anarchy and Tyranny and couldn’t tell which way to turn. Their best bet is probably Anarchy, with a little mentorship from someone in the system. However, asking them if they FEAR getting THIS task or THAT task for the rest of their lives. They should then be directed where they WISH they belong, but as I said, mentorship going toward Anarchy may be required. Whichever group they want to adapt to should be the group to assign them to – UNLESS they have a Savants* parent the Normal Person* child wants to impress by becoming a Savants* like them.
The typecasting SHOULD BE left to the Savants*, but the Normal Person* should send their possibly miscategorized people to a re-evaluation with the Savants*.
Now, as for elitism… :p
Both groups feel their group is the special one. ;p
There’s also a lot of expanding to be done to this post, obviously, but there’s a kick start for ya.
