The likely reason why Justice Nicole ruled in favour of the Sun without actually believing Amber Heard

Amber wasn’t on trial, but Dan Wootton and the Sun Magazine were. Amber was a witness who corroborated Wootton’s story and his view on what happened. Ergo, because Amber said this and admitted to having said all of that, Wootton was effectively telling the truth. Amber needed to be sued directly to judge whether she was telling the truth and whether SHE was guilty of defamation of character, of which the US court found her guilty of on ALL 3 accounts she was accused of.

The true reason why I believe Depp sued the Sun was that they were under an NDA that stopped either one of them from speaking about their relationship in public. The only way Johnny could clear his name was to sue someone, anyone, really in relation to what was said because it had been 2 years, and the rumors wouldn’t die out. He just wanted a legal way to speak his mind, and that’s exactly what they did in the UK. They convinced his colleagues, friends, and fans to be aware of the truth of the matter: Wootton wasn’t really the issue.
