If I love somebody, does that mean they are a True Emotion Mirror?

If you’re wondering if it is enough of a sign that YOU love someone, that they are your True Emotion Mirror, the answer is that, sadly, life isn’t that simple. Everyone loves many people who are not their True Emotion Mirror or even their Precious Soulmate. Therefore, it is obvious that the True Emotion Mirror title needs a lot more to be accurately attached to someone, a LOT more, in fact. The feelings must be completely selfless, for one thing, and THEY must also, not as a reaction to your love, but as a reaction to your existence, love you, the same way you love them – and the list of demands is STILL longer and more complicated than that.

It is complicated mainly to eliminate the false candidates off even the most stubborn people’s lists, as this connection is difficult to explain to someone who hasn’t found theirs yet. The “kinda applies” answer is not enough; although not all signs apply to all True Emotion Mirrors, there are certain required signs that must exist in all connections to call it a True Emotion Mirror relationship – mostly mutual love of your mutual love, you both must love and want this connection more than anything in the world to even stand a chance to be a True Emotion Mirror connection.

It is not always easy to tell whether something is a True Emotion Mirror connection or not, but that shouldn’t be used as permission to slab the label to the person you wish it was just to make your life easier… Or more pleasant… Or more competitive in the eyes of your frenemies. (Don’t do it, either; you’ll stand to become the laughing stock among your frenemies if you pin the label on the wrong person rather than the object of their envy and admiration. It would be a BAD PLAY, ladies. Nothing is as amusing as someone who declared themselves to be divinely loved by some A-lister only to be found out that is not even remotely true. Fucken hilarious… I can hear them bitches wheeze-laughing at some poor ego-filled fool. Anyway.)

So please read the description of the True Emotion Mirror carefully and try not to forcefully apply it to someone. The reaction should be rather “oh my god, well, that finally explains everything,” rather than “well, it could fit on…” or “well, it kinda fits this person…” or “I wish it was that person,” or “Well, that does it, Y is god-ordained to return my love for him/her!”
