The anatomy of drama between people who don’t want drama and those who play with it.
the Young Soul* love a bit of drama. They fall for people who stay around and tolerate drama. Who will stick with them through thick and thin. Therefore, they play with drama all the time to find out who will be there with them tomorrow.
the Ravens* HATE drama. To them, it is unnecessary bs that keep following them for no apparent reason, constantly from every angle, and here’s the reason: the Ravens* have unique ideas, controversial thoughts and unusual interests, a lot of them sexual in nature. They are not interested in drama, so they’ll tell you what they are into straight off the bat: “I’m a non-monogamist, love BDSM, and I’m a Marxist as well.” Every the Young Soul*takes that as a call to action: “Fight me, play me, see how much of what I say is for real and what parts of it is bullshit.”
The reason why the Ravens* say all of those things straight out, especially online, is because they figure nobody needs to waste time on them if they have an issue with people who are like them. “Read my profile, please, and move on if you don’t like it.” the Young Soul* don’t see it this way but think it’s a literal bait to start something – drama that is.
the Ravens* may also dress in an unusual manner to signal an alliance, philosophy, a way of thinking in their clothing; punk rockers, rockers, emos, goths, etc., all the Ravens* ideas, but if the Young Soul*dresses this way, they do it literally to start drama. To gain people’s attention by irritating others for a response; to get a raise out of you. To a Ravens*, this is again a “You’ve been warned; move on if you don’t like it” statement. “I like rock/sex/drugs/anarchy/peace/God/New Age/big drooling dogs/whatever; move on if you have an issue with it, and don’t waste my time with any bullshit (drama).”
While the Ravens* dress and put up social media profiles for two reasons: to find like-minded individuals and to help different kinds of thinkers to avoid them and move on to the next person, the Young Soul* take these signs to mean the exact opposite: “I want to argue.”
When the Young Soul*then starts talking shit to a Ravens*, the Ravens* is quick to anger, as they don’t want to ARGUE about it, they’ve made up their mind, and they’re fine about it. They don’t understand why this random person needs to start talking them out of their beliefs or try to wrestle arms for no reason whatsoever.
the Ravens* are genuine radicals. They like unusual things, they are anarchists and freedom seekers, they push boundaries, and they try things that nobody else has tried before. To a dog-type, all of this is chest-beating and a desperate need for attention. Therefore, a Ravens* minding their own business doing their own thing, to the Young Soul*is like a peacock spreading his feathers trying to lure a mate to themselves.
And… The Ravens* HATE the Young Soul* for this reason. Mind you, the Young Soul* act aggressively because they don’t truly hate anyone. They trust that NOBODY hates anyone for ANY other reason but for rejection. The Young Soul* are not only rejection junkies, but they also don’t believe they’re EVER truly rejected; they only tested for resistance. “I’m gay” doesn’t mean anything more to the Young Soul*except “I’m playing hard to get, and this is the game I choose to play.”
The way out, the Ravens* need to know, is SENSE OF HUMOR and sarcastically playing along. “Oh, yes, I’m interested in you and the attention you can give me. Sure I want attention. I want attention so bad I invented *** just to gain a girl’s attention… ANY girl’s attention. Give me attention. Oh, darling, you paying attention to me makes me hard. BRB – sorry, I had to go for a wank. Thank you. Can I have more attention, please?”
You notice the Young Soul*doesn’t take the Ravens* too seriously once the Ravens* stop acting like regular people, especially if they don’t like what the Ravens* come up with. They think everything is done for attention and, thus, approval. (Approval comes from the ability to gain attention in their world.) Therefore, they pretend not to hear you when you talk about whatever they don’t like, so you’d realize that your unsupported behavior won’t gain you what you desire so; attention. An Old Soul* can learn to use the same strategy. When someone is hitting on you, don’t bother rejecting them – ignore the approach and change topics – laugh it off, play it for a joke. If they press with it, as the Young Soul* have no fear or regard for rejection like the Ravens* do, just be as blunt as you like – they don’t take half of what people say for serious; unless it’s a half a wink, half a smile, half a compliment; that shit, to the Young Soul*means “I love you forever.”
