Why you’ll never be enough for a Savants* if you’re the Normal Person*.

Before I start, I’ll have to say there IS a possibility that the Normal Person* is enough for a Savants*, but that’s a love-at-first-sight sort of affair, or “What, you’re interested? Sure,” sort of event. Whatever it’s like, it’s fast, and often too easy and painless for the Normal Person* Thinking comfort levels. With a Savants*, you’re either in or you’re out. Only another the Savants* can change the initial judgment of a Savants* by representing themselves in a clearer light. To be fair, a Savants* will also never meet the Normal Person*’s standards, but they’re far less likely to keep chasing acceptance for a long time – and they’ll only do it with their parents for any time at all.

the Cat Thinking standards are very different from those of the Normal Person*.

the Normal Person* want security and care, guarantees, and certainty. To a Savants*, those things mean next to nothing because they feel secure and safe in themselves. They want excitement, fun, whimsey, intellectual challenges, and someone they can trust THE WORD of, not “to stay there forever.” They want “forever” relationships, but a forever that is based on sexual attraction, love, and adoration that lasts forever, NOT on a promise to be there forever, even if those other things vain and vanish… Which is a literal the Savants* nightmare.

Your looks.

To the Normal Person*, a Savants* may seem like an easy catch. They dress casually, even like a homeless person, unless they go the other way and dress to the nines. Whichever way they go, the Normal Person* interprets this as low self-esteem. That is not what it is; however, not in the slightest. The Savants* are very good dressers, but their dress has a message. They are very fashion literate, and they never wear anything by accident. To the Normal Person*, this may not always be obvious.

An Savant* will judge you by your look and your fashion literacy, not the money spent on your outfit. They’ll judge you for your fitness levels, looks, in general, the way you carry yourself. They’ll judge you for your “cool” factor, whether you’re sexy or not, “sexiness” is a huge value to a Savants*, never to be underestimated. But this is only the very surface of what you’ll be judged by. Most people fail at this, and the Savants* has only started their evaluation of your being.

the Savants*’ mistake is that they blame themselves for being shallow and vain if they focus too much on this, and they TRY HARD to ignore their instinctive love of good looks. They shouldn’t. They’ll never change, and they don’t judge each other for loving good-looking people. The Savants* should dress shamelessly to their chosen style.

Your morals.

the Savants* are far more comfortable judging you by your morals. Their own moral code is strict and unwavering, and they usually have every right to ride the high horse. The Savants* are morally VERY judgmental and are not shy about passing judgment on those who are not quite as capable of watching their step. While they feel guilty judging a person by their looks, they feel no guilt or shame in passing judgment and dismissing people for moral failures.

Unforgivable deeds/traits include

  • Controlling behaviours: trying to OWN another, reluctant person and trying to force another person to behave in a certain way. (Inflicting commitment on an unwilling person.)
  • Hypocrisy is a character trait that the Savants* cannot stand. Hypocrisy is a habit of saying “you cannot do this” but doing that yourself without limitation.
  • Gold digging.
  • Blatantly lying about one’s traits when getting to know each other (in order to fit a bill.) (No, not everyone does this. The Savants* don’t lie to you. Ever. They may not TELL YOU everything, but what they tell is the truth.)
  • Cheating on a committed partner.
  • Being fake. This is where most the Normal Person* fail in the Cat Thinking code. I’ll write another paragraph on this.
  • ALL of the above can be overridden ONLY if both/all parties mutually agree they want it that way, for any reason, such as BDSM, polygyny, polyandry, or other fetish.

Being authentic/fake.

the Normal Person* and the Savants* define “being authentic” and “being fake” differently, among many other things. The Normal Person* think of nothing but loyalty and commitment when it comes to relationships, everything else is secondary. To a Savants*, loyalty and commitment matter, but in a very different sense than to the Normal Person*. For instance, the Normal Person* will forgive you for sleeping with someone else, as long as you stay in the relationship, but a Savants* will not. To a Savants*, the loyalty and commitment was broken already by sleeping with someone else.

Therefore, “fake” to the Normal Person* means a person who won’t forgive a friend or a partner, or don’t give a second chance. To a Savants*, “being fake” means a very different thing; pretending to have a personality, value system, or a character that you don’t have in order to impress another person and to “slink into” their social circles or a relationship with them, and then claim ownership of some description with a fake identity, effectively. It is not easy to deceive a Savants* for long, but once you’re caught trying, you’re done with them.

If you made friends with a Savants* with a fake personality, they will consider the entire relationship fake, null, and void.

Trying to be the person the Savants* would want you to be; aka. Fake.

It sounds completely non-sensical to the Normal Person*, that the Savants* have REAL ISSUE with people who try to be the person who the Savants* would love and appreciate. They find it utterly distasteful. The Savants* want to find REAL people, and the fact there are the Normal Person* playing a role, pretending to be the person they want, is just distracting and annoying them. They don’t like being hit on by people who have a very shallow idea of what they’re looking for, but think they’ll pass for one.

the Savants* are typically very smart. They are deeply thinking, they spend YEARS out of their life studying a topic, a musical genre, a philosophy, a field of science, or a type of art. Whatever they’re interested in, they have an encyclopaedic knowledge of their topic. When you bust into a conversation basically wearing a costume party version of their sub culture’s attire, they find it a tad bit insulting. It is also likely your conversation contains a lot of “me toos” with very little substance, and it’s UNLIKELY you’ll manage to fool them for long. It’s A LOT EASIER to fool the Normal Person* who is in the circles pretending to be the real deal, but it’s nearly impossible to pass for a real enthusiast with a Savants*.

the Savants* also don’t really care if you agree with them, or if you’re into the exact same thing as they are. They want your interests to be real and compatible with theirs, and that you can entertain them with your intelligent knowledge of your own area of interest, whatever it may be. So… To impress a Savants*, even if he’s a rock star, basically means you’ve got the level of interest in rock that you could easily give a lecture series at a University on some field of rock music, or throw an hour live show with your own music… But then you’d also know your influencers and your background and a ton of other stuff that the average the Normal Person* never could boast with.

the Savants* are not an easy catch, just because they agree to talk to you.

the Savants* are FRIENDLY, but it would be a mistake to consider them a friend just because they are and will remain friendly with you. They may do stuff for you, do you favors without a second thought or a question, and they may borrow you their favorite gizmos, and not think of you as much of a friend. They may give you money, share their food with you, give you a free house to live in, and STILL not think that you’re real friends.

You will always feel that they don’t truly let you in, and that is not because they’re “scared” of you or whatever else you think of them, it’s because they’re not fully impressed by you. The more likely reason why they’re so kind to you is that they feel sorry for you and feed you like a bird with a broken wing. Their kindness is rarely an act of friendship but rather charity, and it would be a mistake to take it for a real friendship. They may call it that because it makes sense to, and they STILL will think you’re second grade to them.

You can give them everything, and they’ll still think nothing of you.

It also works in reverse. However, the Savants* rarely WANT YOU to give them everything you have, because they don’t want you to use it to obligate them to a relationship with you. Still, there are times when they don’t NOTICE you’ve “given everything” to them, because it simply wasn’t impressive. You may have spent years with them, trying to make them see you, and they won’t. You may have tried to be the very thing they’d love, and they look right past you.

Then, they go out and find some gallivanting boozer or a side show whore, and fall in love. And none of that makes sense to you. But to them, and others like them, it’s completely logical and even admirable.

They don’t judge a book by it’s cover. They cannot be bought.

You’ll never have them.
