Can I explain the Holocaust in spiritual terms?
The New Age claims that we will always receive what we ask for and that there is nothing that anyone has ever experienced that they didn’t want for themselves. New Age also states, that we always receive what we ask for, but not necessarily in the way we had in mind – mostly because what we wanted wouldn’t have created the result of the emotion that we were asking to experience.
All throughout all religions, people pray for their faith to be tested. When people pray for such a thing, they rarely notice that what they are asking is “Please prove to me that I am a better Christian/Jew/Muslim/etc. than the others, by giving me an ordeal I can cope with easily but that looks bad to other people.” People pray for a fake test to elevate themselves with, and the Holocaust was certainly NOT a fake test of faith. When a prayer is repeated over and over, by the same people, people will get what they want; a test of faith so incredible, that there is not but a handful of people who survive the test still in God’s hands… It is guaranteed that the faith of every hypocrite died during those years, be them Christian, Nazi, or Jews, and only those who truly trusted their lives to be led by God would have survived an ordeal like that unshaken.
Think twice what you pray for, because you will get it.
The other very likely reason for the Holocaust is for the Jews themselves to start feeling fed up with their own religion. With the modernizing society, the strict rules would have started to feel a bit too much to follow, so it is more than likely that hatred towards the religion grew within the ranks of the religion itself, and the non-verbal, non-thought prayer would go out: “Destroy this religion.” To destroy a religion is to destroy the members of it so that it will no longer spread as faith. The complete destruction of the faith was stopped simply by the will to live giving way to the will to be freed from the rules and faith the killed no longer wanted to follow. They were released from the Jewish faith by death; complete families, so that their soulmates would be free to be born in new families, under new faiths, and under new circumstances, and not be separated by a cap of religion and other beliefs. The ones who survived, loved their religion, their culture, and their heritage, and are still being born into the same faith, most likely, while the ones that got destroyed, are now living lives much more suited to their authentic personality and their expression of divinity that they embody.
There are also those people who crave pain and suffering. This is the part where I boldly claim that no matter how unfathomable the pain, there are always going to be people who need it. During the Holocaust, the levels of pain went from being shot to death upon discovery, to being subjected to horrifying medical experiments within the Nazi regime, experiments, that also later have saved lives due to medical discoveries that would have taken years longer to be discovered without this… “opportunity” to conduct them. During the times of war, when everything is out of place and abnormal, the most incredible of things happen: Everyone will get what they want, no matter how sick and twisted it is.
I am also not saying everyone will love the pain, but there is always SOMETHING about the suffering we endure that we also enjoy: The feeling of release from that pain, the feeling of survival, being rescued, having a close shave, enjoying the RIGHT to feel anger or hate, the right to NEVER FORGIVE someone, (this could have been the breaking of karmic soulmate bonds between people of opposing sides, when the other finally accepts that they did something that the other one has no need to forgive,) the need to have one’s endurance tested, the need to have one’s conscience tested, the need to see the mirror so clearly… The Holocaust also drew people out of their hiding; not the Jews but the Christians, Nazi and non-Nazi alike, when everything around you is a question of what kind of a person are you exactly, and your soulmates are watching.
And what about Hitler?
A man whose views weren’t objected to early on due to politeness. If you think someone is talking complete nonsense at a dinner party, will you tell him? No. If they are completely controversial and on-the-nose, will you tell them? No. You change company or trust that everyone thinks as you think about this person. He perhaps didn’t really expect to be taken seriously. Perhaps he expected people to oppose his views and tell him he’s wrong, but due to politeness, that didn’t happen, certainly not often enough, leaving only those who supported his views (for a reason or another) to give him feedback… And the snowball started rolling. Before long, the momentum was so big, that even Hitler himself was no longer privy to what was happening in every corner of his dominion, camps were cleaned up for his visit, and it is entirely possible he was kept in dark about the most horrific things that happened under his very name. This man was not a monster, mind you, he was a human being, and that will serve you well to realize that just as easily as this, it could have been the Jewish to turn on the Christians, led by one man who was supported by people with nothing to lose and everything to gain, in the name of their god.
Never forget people are a balance of light and dark, and if you live too far to one end, the other side to you is going to swing into control one time or the other. Deny one side, and the other side will balance things out later. That is a law of our spirit; you are as light as you are dark, and if you want to travel far into the light, you will have to travel an equal distance to the dark to balance it out… Or keep your light and dark balanced at all times, in equal measures.
The “Christ” is also the “anti-Christ”, as they say, but that is not to say Hitler was the anti-Christ, just Anti-Hitler. His light side is equal to his darkness, too… And so are you, both your positive and your negative, and as much as you are capable of giving, you are capable of taking… And vice versa. All in an eternal balance.
And remember; We do reincarnate. Each and every one of us. Merit or no merit. We simply do.
