Celebrity tip: How to block the door from people wishing to weasel their way into your PRIVATE life?

You’re a celebrity, so you are used to having conversations on camera. You have two kinds of wanna-be-friends: those who want to use you to get famous and those who want to get into your private life for money, security, luxuries, and to brag to their real friends about knowing you personally, AND to share your intimate secrets to prove they’re in the know. There is a way to quickly get rid of both. What’s left, are your real friends.

Every time you make a new friend, invite them to a televised/YouTubed (dinner) party, where you make sure every guest is on camera. You put a camera in front of everybody, and you’ll have hopefully an awesome discussion with your friends, and you share it with your followers/fans. This will do two things:

You’ll give the celebrity type an instant opportunity to shine on their own, and if they’re celebrity-worthy, they can go on to have their own career off you and leave you be. You’ll hopefully get awesome content off them and get paid for your help doing so.

The people who don’t want to be public friends but who just want to be hiding in your corners being spoon-fed by a rich guy won’t want to be at that dinner party when they realize this is what you do. All of your friends will be celebrities or public figures, which makes your life a lot more comfortable for you – you don’t have to try and maintain privacy when it’s nearly impossible to do for the comfort of your “private” friends.

Also, when someone wants to use your friendship to pretend to be cool in the eyes of the people they truly want to impress, don’t want them to know they have nothing cool to say and that they are, in your company as much as anyone else’s, the same exact loser as they are in front of the people they wish to impress. They don’t want a camera on their humiliation, do they?

Third, the ones who are happy to share the spotlight WITH YOU will remain in your life and join your future dinner parties and private life, but NOT before they’ve been publicly introduced.
