Chakra connections to your soulmate – how deep is you love?

There was a time when I wrote my soulmate theories by the chakras. “The Kundalini Spirit Mirror” was a popular term, but I felt I was borrowing something out of a philosophy I didn’t understand well enough to borrow it with a clear conscience. I’m not sure if it was the right term to borrow, but it might have been. Nonetheless, the True Emotion Mirror is the exact same connection as the Kundalini Spirit Mirror referred to.

The chakra connections are still valid, tho. Those, I can understand… And yet, I claim I feel these connections a bit differently what the generic (over-simplified) chakra charts would suggest.

How do you feel the connections?

In some cases, you can actually FEEL the energy flow between your chakras as you are close to each other or communicating in the spirit. (A type of telepathy.) The feeling in each chakra or even in each relationship you hold can be different.

Sometimes you feel like your chakra energy pulls back from someone you find unpleasant.

The root chakra

This person makes you feel safe and cared for. You may experience this in deep trust of this person, a stranger who you trust enough to fall asleep next to them. (By my experience, it’s difficult to fall asleep next to a stranger, unless you’re drunk. Someone who you’re connected to by the root chakra, would allow you to fall asleep with them even if you were complete strangers.)

Often denotes a past life family connection, but can also be a sign of a True Emotion Mirror* if the other chakras react positively. At the lowest level, it only means you trust this person not to freaking kill you in your sleep. (That’s a positive, right? 😉 )

Sacral Chakra

If the other chakras are not connected with this person, this is a very low-level sexual connection. You, or they, will be sexually attracted to you, but it never seems to go past the genitals.

Connecting only through this chakra is what gives sexual relationships a bad name.

Solar Plexus Chakra

This chakra, to me, feels like the hardest one to pick, and I find that sources discussing Solar Plexus Chakra are either differing from each other or denoting it to something that I, personally disagree with. I say the Solar Plexus is the chakra of pleasure and fun, joy, humor, and lack of quilt (or the opposite in closed up form, the source of guilt and shame.) I feel this is the reason it’s often kind of over-looked or rushed over, because we DO hold a lot of guilt about everything and this chakra, I’d imagine, is often blocked.

This is, however, the chakra of true friendship. It’s about sharing, pleasure, giving, enjoyment, fun, laughter, everything that makes life worth living.

Connecting only through this chakra is already pretty good – unless you join together to feel ashamed of yourselves, guilt each other, and shame each other, like in old Christian traditions.

Heart Chakra

You wouldn’t guess that I say this is the dangerous chakra because it is the chakra of love, but also the chakra of entitlement issues. It easily connects through possessiveness through the root chakra: “I love you, therefore I must have you, you must be grateful for my love, I own you because I love you.” “I love you, therefore you must provide for me.”

Because it is linked to love, it gives you a sense of justification: “Love is the highest feeling of all” (it is not) “therefore I can do with you as I please, I only have your best interest in mind” often missing whose interest is in question in all reality.1

Also, connecting through this chakra alone makes people ignorant and insensitive to the other person’s TRUE needs. Without the help of the 3rd eye, this is a blind chakra, that functions selfishly and without thinking. This is in their true, profound need of helping and supporting their loved one. OFTEN functions together with the root chakra.

Still, having a blocked heart chakra is hardly good news, obviously.

Throat Chakra

The throat chakra is the chakra of communication and understanding the other person. When this chakra is in connection, the people communicate on the same level and with ease. They do not misunderstand each other.

It might denote a mutual creative outlet, but it would also require the syncing of the 3rd Eye to function that way. The throat chakra alone speaks “I am” and the other person understands it correctly. However, without the 3rd Eye, they cannot share visions and they communicate through language alone.

When this chakra is in misalignment, there are endless communication problems, of course.

The 3rd Eye

Without the other chakras in sync, this gives a superficial insight into another person. Often giving a view that makes no instinctive sense to the other person. However, it is rare for this chakra to be the only connection point between friends because if it is your only connection, you BOTH understand that it is your only connection without difficulty, and you also understand it isn’t enough, and move on.

The Third Eye is not a pure, angelic chakra, either, it is also the chakra of revenge and wish to hurt and mutilate. As it sees into the other person, it can also take delight in other people’s pain, suffering as much as it can take delight in giving others pleasure.

It is often the attempt of communication to open up the Third Eye connection to make the other person understand you better.

With deep soulmates, the Third Eye is open and connected, and it is the third eye, that True Emotion Mirrors communicate through much more than in any other way. In high-level soulmates, this chakra functions as the hub of all others, “my divinity” to “the beast that is me”.

In deep soulmates, the 3rd Eye and the Throat Chakra are uniquely functioning. A heart connection is still a relatively low-level connection, but in the True Emotion Mirrors , ALL chakras should be in sync, or at least they have a potential to be, otherwise, it’s not a True Emotion Mirror connection.

The Crown

In the most psychologically understandable way, the Crown Chakra is the chakra of respect. This is the highest emotion, short for the need to liberate, not love (particularly in the sense of the wish to take care of someone). Respect means that even if you do not love or like someone, you allow them their freedom and their way of existing. This is the chakra that stops you from wanting to control others and forcing others into your will. (Heart, again, is the villain here due to it’s naivety without the insight of the 3rd Eye and respect of the Crown.)

The Crown helps you to let go, to trust the connection, to elevate yourself above your own, selfish needs and to respect the needs of the others. It is the chakra of independence and self-reliance. Grown-up chakra.

I cannot find a negative function to the Crown Chakra, and it is the chakra of healing, the tool to heal all other chakras.

The combination of them all

Once all chakras are somewhat in unison in you, as an individual, it gives you a sense of personal power, security, trust, an ability to stand on your own, without fear of others or the need to control others. However, it also gives you the trust to be close to others, to truly connect through all of these chakra points whenever the other person is in harmony with you.

This way of being is not particularly CALM, by the way. Once all of your chakras are open and connected to your True Emotion Mirrors*, you will feel it be completely possible to go from one extreme to the other and enjoy the FULL SCALE of human emotions without fear, shame, or guilt. This also means that you will have a much more humorous outlook in life, you’ll love everything about it, and you’ll truly realize EVERYTHING ALREADY IS PERFECT.

But this was supposed to be about relationships.

Imagine you can tell your lover everything. (Don’t necessarily limit yourself to your spouse when I use the word “lover”.) He or she knows and understands everything about you, from top to bottom. He or she knows your dark sides as your light sides and adore each and every corner of your being. They cannot get enough of you, they simply want more of who you are. They want to drown in what and who you are.

Highly pleasurable, even hedonistic way of being. Asceticism really doesn’t suit this, although, once the chakras are in harmony, you don’t feel material, money, and luxuries no longer define you, whether you have them or not. You will no longer feel ashamed of what you want, and you understand that everything has a place and a time… Including riches and really freaking dirty sex! 😉 (Whichever way you define that.)

Up the level just a notch.

WE TEND TO block others away from our chakras when we feel unsure about their intentions. The goal would be to keep all chakras flowing at all times, around all people, but that is quite a feat to achieve. Once that happens, all people will be able to react to you in a way that guides you towards your True Emotion Mirrors* and towards your true life. Blocking chakras (emotions) make people think you are this, when in reality, you are that. That gives the heart-people and endless power over you, and they can systematically damage your attempt to find your True Emotion Mirrors*.

The chakra openings shouldn’t be just a meditation practice. In western cultures, we are much more used to (without knowing what we’re doing) to open the blockages through psychological therapy and philosophy. We do it by TALKING (or blogging, 😉 ) our way of understanding ourselves and forgiving ourselves.

Is there another chakra between the 3rd Eye and the Crown?

I would almost say there’s another chakra between the crown and the 3rd eye that we use more; the frontal cortex, which literally combines the spiritual (Crown) and the instinctive observation (3rd eye) into a logical worldview. Otherwise, you could think the 3rd eye to also be the logical, intellectual chakra. It would mean that it both observes and makes logical sense out of the observation.

If there is another chakra in there, it would often be the “overthinking part”, which people try to shut down in meditation. However, when it is in balance, the thinking is relaxed, flowing, and efficient and in harmony with the rest of the chakras, working beautifully together with them all.

  1. The highest feeling is respect, the way men describe respect, not “respect for women” kind of way, which is the lowest form of respect you can ask for, the right to be untouched if you don’t want to be touched.
