Collaboration with the Normal Person* vs. a Savants*

the Normal Person* express willingness to collaborate by expressing admiration. The Savants* express admiration by expressing admiration. It doesn’t need to lead anything, it’s mostly just stating a fact. Maybe a green light to pursue friendship, which again is not an invitation to collaborate, which will boggle the Normal Person*’s mind. The Savants* collaborate differently to the Normal Person*. They prefer individuals working toward the same goal, without tying the said individuals tightly to place. The ideal for a Savants* is very clearly visible on YouTube collabs; we both create independent footage for our own separate channels when shooting the same event that we create together. Cat Type Thinking* gold.

the Normal Person* invite you to join a team, in which, your individual efforts will mix seamlessly with those of the team. You will effectively never get credit in a Lover-thinking* team. The team leader takes the credit for the teams’ effort, but only nominally; the Normal Person* assumes that all the work is done by the team anyway, and the team leader is a figurehead only. To the Normal Person*, Elon Musk is but a brand logo. An Savant* assumes Elon Musk is the biggest genius in the house, employing minor genii.

the Savants* don’t like to give up their credit to a group.

the Savants* tend to be quite aware of their superior intellect or talent in their field to be instantly comfortable lending themselves to a group role. Just think back to school; whenever you were given a group assignment, the truth of it is that one or two people do all the work, and the group is graded as a whole. The Savants* hate working twice as well as others, only to be treated the same as others at the end of it… The Normal Person* are ashamed of all manners in which they differ from the group, so they don’t mind this at all; in fact, whenever their differences are hidden, the better they feel, whether they’re the one doing the work or the one failing to do the work.

the Normal Person* are also very possessive of everything that happens within an organization. They feel your work is their work and their work is your work and dig in. While that works in some sense, the Savants* rarely love and respect others so much this is how much they’d be willing to share their knowledge and input with a group.

the Normal Person* will take your talent and give credit to someone else.

This is the stuff that Cat Type Thinking* nightmare is made out of: You agree to collaborate with a group, and the next thing you know is that your vision and talent is fully taken over by a group of locust-like individuals running amuck with it. You lose all control and creative freedom with your own work. To boot, they’ll remove you from the CEO seat and give it to someone “better looking” while expecting you to be happy about it all… Lucky you.

What is worse, the Normal Person* are blueprint-loyal mass marketers. They want to PROCESS all creative things and package them in some certain way that they know will sell. That’s where that idea has come from; the Normal Person* that will buy talent and then… Destroy its freedom and authenticity for “a bubble gum” version of the same, as the Savants* would complain.

Angel Investors

The whole idea of Angel Investors has come from the Cat Type Thinking* sector, to protect upstart companies from this very thing. They invest in companies that they believe in, without assuming controlling stock as a trade off. They keep their opinions and hands to themselves, and merely expect profits from what the business owner generates. A Normal Person*, on the other hand, would assume the investor will take a leading role and hold-hand-approach to the new company; some of them will oblige on invitation, too.
