Confusing Individuals: A Enigma Spirit (Object and the Chaser)

This is a pairing of a Enigma Spirit (the object/runner) and a Enigma Chaser.

A Enigma Spirit is someone who gathers a lot of attention from other people for a reason or another. They display a lot of desirable traits ranging from beauty to heroism and talent, but they are often pitied by the Normal Person* in some sense, creating a need to “rescue them” from their stressful lives that are “focussed on all the wrong things”. The MOST COMMON case when I read Twin Flame conversations is the case of the Enigma Spirit; whenever I hear “He is not quite as enlightened as I am and is in denial about our connection…” I figure: “Right. A Enigma.”

The Enigma Spirit could be easily equated to an idol or a celebrity. A lot of people are fascinated by them, and everyone sees themselves in them, everyone who is observing them feels “they are just like me” without that feeling being authentically reciprocated by the Enigma, who might agree just to be polite but not really meaning it. In many cases, the Enigma Spirit (I am one, by the way,) gets to hear phrases like: “we are so much alike!”, “I’ve never felt such a connection to someone so easily” or “I feel like you are my big sister/brother…” a lot. All the time, from people who they feel quite lukewarm about due to seeing more differences than similarities in them.

“A person can only see in others what they recognize in themselves” said a friend of mine, and she hit the nail in the head in terms of Enigma Spirits. Enigma Spirits are like rainbows; they show all colors and all shades of all colors. A Enigma Chaser is a color or some shades of a color, and they look at the rainbow, seeing nothing but their own color and say: “I am just like you!” The Enigma looks back at them, and thinks: “No, you are only shades of red, while I am all colors.” While the Enigma might miss some things about the Chaser, they see so many of their own qualities missing in the Chaser that they are not excited about this connection, at all.

Keeping with the example; The Enigma Chaser is used to meeting blues, greens, yellows, and only rarely reds, and when they see someone who has red in them, they feel they’ve met someone “just like them”. The Enigma, however, displaying all the colors of a rainbow, find EVERYONE to be PARTLY similar to them, without a fail. They can relate to everyone UP TO A POINT, and most often feel short-changed in their relationships in terms of how much they are and how much the other person is. While they keep looking for their rainbow, the Enigma Chaser is quite possibly locked in hopes and dreams regarding them, attaching the label Twin Flame to them; they are, after all, the most amazing person they’ve ever met.
