Consent is the king, even as a fan.

If you (are a female and) wonder why you may make people (men and/or women) uncomfortable around you, it may be the fact you don’t know how to admire someone without assuming your admiration of them should lead to sexual intercourse. Look, idols can be admired simply for their talent; sexual organs need not be a part of the deal. Of course, the star themselves can give you permission as a collective fan base to see them as a sex symbol – by posting certain photos, saying as much, whatever. Still, some idols are not comfortable being assumed to be sex toys for their (female) fans because their talent lies beyond being sexy.

The reason why you pulled up this post is that this might be something you need to realize and cool off a bit – maybe you’re a little bit too presumptuous about someone’s willingness to fulfill your fantasies regarding them.
