Create a fake image of who you are in truth.

If you feel embarrassed about “coming out” as your authentic self because you’re not sure it’s received correctly, how about you think of it as a con? You “Fake it ’till you make it” as they say: you “lie” until it becomes true. This is often the way people go from their teen years to their adult years; they pretend competence until they feel it. It can be applied to any new change.

Sometimes people go for a gradual change, you turn yourself into a rock star quite gradually; first, it’s a black T-shirt. Next, there’s a bracelet… One piece at a time; people won’t even notice you’ve changed at some stage.
