Critical spirituality: are you truly the Christ or Mary Magdalene?

I do believe that Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene existed. In fact, I have a pretty good idea how the whole thing evolved, but I wanted to discuss something a little different. I’ve come across a few people during these years I’ve been actively broadening my spiritual awareness and understanding of the human condition, and what I have found is that there is a high probability that there are entities out there in the spirit realm (non-present people, really) that target people who they view being egotistical and narcissistic, and they attack these people by giving them a reason to think that they are the reincarnation of Jesus Christ or Mary Magdalene.

These people go through a period where they “fight it” and who then, eventually “grow to accept it”, even though, from my perspective, the acceptance is never that big of a deal, really. What is also to be noticed is that the ego present, and the insistence of “I am the Christ, if you doubt me, I will question your value rather than the validity of my claim”. Also, I’ve been told by a spirit entity that I am the primary incarnation of Mary Magdalene, just like so many other spiritual guides before and after me have been told. Now, when I tell this to a “Christ” who has found their True Emotion Mirror, Mary Magdalene, I have actually heard this more than once: “Well, that explains  my instant sexual attraction to you, you are a fragment of my True Emotion Mirror, Mary Magdalene.”

No. No, that isn’t what it is. It means men find me attractive. Instantly. That’s all. Even those whose True Emotion Mirror is none other than Mary Magdalene. She could be Afrodite and these men would still be drawn to me. It just is the way it is.

When you ask these people what makes them think they are the real incarnation of Christ, you’ll be bombarded with a whole lot of spiritual platitudes from numerological evidence to having the same initials as the Christ or Mary Magdalene, to having the light of Christ or yada yada yada. We’ve heard the same from people who believe to be the reincarnation of Arc Angel Michael or the True Emotion Mirror of angel Gabriel, all equally certain that all of these entities a) are real b) are of divine origin and c) are their previous incarnations.

Now… Divinity is a tough problem. We can be called cynical if we deny the idea of divinity. But certainly we do not have to believe people who would ridicule us for not believing they are Christ or who would laugh at you in order to humiliate you after asking a few simple questions such as… Well… You are not the only one who believes you are the Christ. What makes you think you’re the real deal? “I am the main body of Christ, I have several fragments of me out in the world.” “And what makes you think, out of all of the main bodies out there, that you are actually the main-main Christ?” “Hahahhaha! I will leave you alone, now, you do not have the required level of awareness for this!”

That sounds like a bad movie script, don’t you think?

I feel tempted to publish the last email conversation I had with the latest Christ, I think I have the legal right to do so, but I don’t think I will… But I am tempted to. I am sick of spiritual platitudes. I hate New Age and I love New Age. I love the main, guiding principle of New Age, but I hate the people who are generally drawn to it. 😀 I hate “Indigo Children” and their self-deluding parents because they haven’t got a fucking clue!
