Don’t allow yourself to be used for relationship practise unless you could use a lesson, too.
the Normal Person* tend to view their relationships as “practise” for the real one. While I get that sometimes relationships are temporary, these practice relationships shouldn’t be one-sided, or life-long. That said, they sometimes figure the practise is namely about keeping to one person for life, but what they should be focussed on is how to be the kind of a person who is worth being with for life.
Too often, they try to practice how to control another person, NOT how to treat them right. Not what makes a man want to run from a relationship, but rather how to stop his escape. That is not cool. That is not cool at all, and male or female, you shouldn’t allow yourself to be used for such practice. It’s not a lesson anyone needs to learn, either.
What lesson they might want to learn is how to cope with being single. That is TRULY a worthy lesson to learn. It’s a GOOD lesson to learn.
