Don’t be fooled by nasty snark -commentry hiding incompetence.

There are perfect examples in collections of “fashion fails” on the Internet. Writers who clearly know nothing of style and fashion pretend to know what they’re talking about, bashing others and trying to sound like they’re in the know.

Sure, if you know anything about your topic, you’ll get something right, but looking for a flaw when there is none makes a person seem stupid – maybe it’s done on purpose? Maybe they try to convey they don’t know what they’re talking about and that taking offense is unnecessary, but well, people tend to.

Just saying; when you hear people making nasty comments, it maybe someone who doesn’t know what they’re talking about trying to sound smart.

Aand, if you apply this rule too liberally, you can ignore sound critisism, too, obviously.

How do you know, then? If you know your stuff, you’ll know the difference. Just stay solid, stay confident, and defend people who deserve to be defended by an informed professional or enthusiast.
