Don’t rely on other people to do the right thing. Or to treat you as you deserve once you have done the right thing by them.

Learn to predict selfishness, lying, self-serving attitudes, and manipulation. Instead of trying to make other people do the right thing, focus on teaching yourself to live with a moral integrity among the morally corrupt and WIN.

Stop wasting time teaching stupid people things that require intelligence and experience or selfish people things that require selflessness. They’ll never learn until they have to. They’ll learn once their old strategies no longer give them what they want.

Teach yourself. You can bank it – it’ll stay with you from lifetime to lifetime. Otherwise, you’ll be spinning wheels trying to re-teach the same 3 people who only learn how to manipulate you further.

Live by this: “Even when it’s not your fault, it’s still your fault.” You let that person in your life (being stupid, gullible, and blind), and then you let them stay there (being manipulatable, blind, and weak.) You allowed it to happen, didn’t see it coming, and now, you’re suffering the consequences of turning a blind eye too many times. Teach yourself to be better at playing than the players themselves, and do it in accordance of your own authentic moral value system…

And spend some time considering what is the line between selfish and fair. Clue: If someone has to be SELFLESS for the other one to get what they want, then the person getting what they want is the definition of selfish. Fuck selfish/selfless; aim for justice and what is fair.
