Flaunting your flaws to the Modern is like flirtation to them.

Be mindful, as a Timeless, the way we try to turn people off us is to flaunt our flaws at them. To the Modern, however, this is like a SOS signal and flirtation in the form of “come and fix me. I trust you to know how to change me into a better person.”

If you want to get rid of the Modern, you’ll have to stonewall them. No information. Information about positive traits is “I want to impress you” instead of “Clearly, I’m too good for you,” and negative information is “I need your help to improve.” There is no such information you can give to the Modern that would make them decide you’re “incompatible” they don’t understand the meaning of the word.

The information you need to give to a Timeless is “I’m interested in you. Tell me about yourself if you want to indulge me.” They’ll know what to do. I guess.

Remember Stonewall. “Hey, you’re hot. Do you have a girlfriend?” If you’re not interested, you might say, “You don’t need that information,” and walk away. Or you might say, “No,” and walk away. (A the Timeless woman would never ask if you have a girlfriend because they know it’s irrelevant. Even if you did, they know there’s always a chance of a breakup, and if you’re happy in that relationship, it’s your job as a man to make sure your behavior remains appropriate if you do have one, not hers to monitor. Therefore, they will not waste time on a question like that.)
