God only wants to know who you are, that’s all

There is a lot of confusing elements in the New Age teachings. All seem to have one thing in common: To make it sound as difficult as possible to do. To reach the goal seems like a privilege of few selected individuals, and only that of spiritual masters. While to an extend this is true, because you have to be that way inclined to want to spend all that time in the search of the spiritual truth, finding your authentic true self (one that works from the soul) is a goal we all should aim for, and very doable especially to those who don’t try to find enlightenment. That is the irony of all of this. The more we try, the more we tend to get lost. The less we want to please others and jump through hoops the easier it is for us to find our authentic way of being. Everything we need to know about our spiritual authenticity is laid right there in front of us: In everything we do, see and experience, it’s all there. There is no need to seek it, it’s right there.

To lay down our spiritual path for you in few steps I hope to release you from the endless search of an answer:

The Basics: Everything was created for the purpose of enjoyment. Whatever you enjoy is the thing you should pursue. What you enjoy defines who you are. Who you are is what we are here to enjoy. The goal of your life is to clear out every obstacle, emotional or physical (including shame or regret, either by stop feeling guilty or stop doing the stuff that makes you feel ashamed), that stops you from enjoying yourself.  That’s all you need to know. You can stop reading here if you like. If you trust me, that’s all you need to know. (Continue only if you enjoy it.)

We first incarnate as a clean soul that can become anything they want. ANYTHING at all. An object, animal, human, the choice is theirs and they are allowed to change their minds as often as it takes for them to find the way they want to be. We reincarnate in search of our most enjoyable way of being. Some of us are old, some are young, some are ancient.

We first are born as clear souls, then people start to tell us what we should be or should do, should like and not like, what we should fear or approach. That is losing our purity. When we age, we start cleaning ourselves from their expectations and becoming our true selves again. Then we get to live life to the fullest. People who couldn’t care less of other people’s opinions and are who they enjoy being are in their authentic state.

Your authentic self may be an animal or even an object. Oops – wrong species! (Don’t worry, there’s always the next round.)

Many of us are spiritually ahead of those we follow. Many of us mock those who are spiritually ahead of ourselves. That is why you can only focus on where you are now and what you would enjoy doing next. You can only see your next step with enough clarity to take it. You cannot (fully) understand those who are ahead of you, but you can understand those who come behind you. If you can place yourself in the position of another person, it means you’ve been there yourself and have already accepted and understood that particular life lesson. If you cannot, it means you have not experienced or understood what they have already been through. And yet, following in a spiritual master’s footsteps can easily lead you astray; They can only give you clues but cannot lead you all the way because they are not going where you are going. They are an individual and so are you. You have no right to follow them where they are going: It’s their place, not yours.

If you ever feel smug toward a person and their situation, thinking you’d do so much better if you were in their shoes, you will surely find yourself in a directly comparable situation custom made for you so you can prove yourself. Nobody is given a challenge that is no challenge to them. To truly know oneself is to save oneself from a lot of trouble!

We have nowhere to go, nowhere else to be, the physical is not the problem, the enemy or an illusion, it’s merely an extension to what we already are. Our goal is to find a way to experience our souls more profoundly in the physical. To do that, we must follow our bliss (back to point enjoyment.) Whatever you enjoy doing is an expression of your true soul. WHATEVER YOU ENJOY DOING is a reflection of who you are, and before you get it out of your system, you won’t be moving ahead. (There are a few ways to get something out of your system, such as deep meditative imagination. Do that enough on the soul level and you don’t need to do that in the physical necessarily. Indulge in the fantasies, and if you still want to do it, then you probably have to.) What you are now is not what you will always be. You must first experience what you are now before you can move onto what you will be in the future. You can’t skip steps, so trying to be Jesus Christ when you are a mere Old Soul is not going to work for you. Enjoy being an Old Soul first. You are what you are.

Repeat that: “I am what I am.” (What are you?)

You should only ever hold yourself to your own standards. Their standards are their own, yours are yours. If you want to compete with the best of the best, that is your right.

You can only find your place in the Universe (and in your loved one’s lives and arms) by finding your own true self first. Denying yourself “as a false sense of I” and attempting to be the entire Universe (one) at once will keep you from finding your true self. If we were truly ‘one’, we would be completely alone. Separation, individuality, is essential to not being alone. The other is a blessing. The other is one that was created so none of us would have to be alone.

Control is poison. Holding onto a conviction that you should be better than what you are is poison. Wanting to become better than you are can be enjoyable, but holding onto shoulds and musts will poison your soul. You are what you are. Don’t fight it. Live it. Love it. Breathe it.

Ego is not the enemy. You can’t rid yourself from ego. You must make it stronger, so that it is healthy and vibrant and happy and can withstand a few blows to the gut. Hurt ego is only a phase, you must nurture your ego. Love it. Only Infant Souls have no ego. Child Soul is the first one to figure out an “auch” to their Ego. An infant Soul has no capacity to understand an insult to their Ego. An Ancient Soul has an ego the size of a truck, but it is strong and full of self-confidence. “Having an ego” really only means having a low self-esteem.

Love comes only second to the importance of respect. Respect allows a person to be their authentic selves where love wants to protect them. Protecting a loved one from the choices they want to make is poison to their authentic selves and thus, their true enjoyment and happiness. If you truly love a person, their authenticity is the only thing you need to protect with respect, not with love. All-consuming love can be the most enjoyable thing for you to experience, but only joined together with enough respect to keep your love from suffocating the object of your affection.

Self-sacrificing is a way of making others responsible for your unhappiness.

In spirituality kindness and self-sacrificing are overrated. Compromise is the certain way to ensure that everyone loses out.

Calm is overrated. A pure soul lives with passion. Passion gets you in trouble. (So do your best friends.) By avoiding trouble you avoid living.

Learn to accept gifts! Life is a gift from God. Don’t throw it back in his face like it wasn’t good enough for you by saying you have to “rid yourself from your physical desires”. God keeps tempting you with enjoyable stuff, so you would learn to take his gifts with gratitude and joy! Take them, grab them with both hands and then smile and say: “More please!” (Have you ever experienced the feeling you get when someone you wanted to make happy politely refuses your gifts because they don’t want to be a bother to you? Compare it to the look on their faces when they go: “Holy….. I can’t believe you got me this!!!” That’s how God feels. He fills this Earth to it’s brim with blessings and we’re here going “oh I can’t have that… OR that. Or that… That I could have but I don’t want it.” Stop being so hard to please!!)

You don’t want to achieve a level of consciousness where you no longer care about anything such as your physical self. It is not a nice place to be. It sucks. It’s called depression, not enlightenment.

You always know what you must do next. You just don’t want to admit it most of the time or you’re too scared of people judging you for it. You are only confused because you’re not listening to yourself with an open mind.

Pure soul knows no biological limitations to who it can love. True love transcends species and genetic relations. (Put that in your pipe and smoke it.) Your true family is tied to you by the soul, not by genetics, but your family members can be your True Emotion Mirrors*.

A pure spirit has both a dark side and a light side, and a completely self-aware soul knows that the dark side is just as light as the light side: there is nothing wrong in it’s right place.

Since we are here to experience our souls, what our bodies end up doing doesn’t matter. All religion based limitations are actually there only to protect the body or physical ramifications of a “wrong” choice. That choice is then fear based, and thus, not a pure choice of the soul. (There truly is no sin.)

You can only be your authentic self by making choices that you enjoy making. You are an individual. Anything you do from should (not) is forcing things. Don’t force yourself to become what you are not. Do not think that what you are today must be what you will be thousand years from now. We evolve, we change – but slowly. We must be sure we want the change before we truly change.

You are most likely not both monogamous and heterosexual in your authentic mode. You may be, but you’d do wisely to consider it.

Your personal enlightenment will potentially keep evolving endlessly – you will never be “completely enlightened”. Your self-awareness will evolve endlessly. Not even the human body is at the pinnacle of evolution yet, that is why we feel it is limiting because it’s not evolved to it’s full potential yet. (When I say “human”, I really should say an Earthling.) We are aiming towards greater self-awareness and our bodies are not equipped to sense everything the Universe has to offer. We know this for a scientific fact. Therefore, nobody has left this planet yet as “complete”, nor will they. (They can only give up or keep going, those are your only two options.)

The first rule of spirituality should be this: You can only be responsible for your own choices. Whenever you choose for yourself, even when you choose the wrong path, it’s easier to live with than taking a wrong path out of someone else’s recommendation. You can live with your own wrong choices, apart from choosing to do as someone else tells you to against your own will or instinct.

Relax. Relax. Relax. Enjoy yourself.
