If you worry about your survival your first concern is the same as those who just want to find love: You have to know how to be nice.

The reason why people abandon you is not because they care but because you’ve behaved in a way that makes them not care. You’re no longer worth your shit, to put in more understandable terms. They are better off without you. Talented, strong, and capable people, namely, don’t really care about survival buddies who don’t help them to thrive but make everything harder just by being around. If all they do for you is to keep you alive, motivated, positive, and standing up, while you bark orders at them, they will eventually figure out that they can thrive without you.

Therefore, no matter what you want in life, your biggest concern must be not to piss people off. How not to be a dick nobody wants to have around.

Don’t ever count on people being just as afraid of being alone as you are. Many people have no fear of solitude or surviving alone, but often, they get tired of nasty, selfish people. Don’t be one if you fear for your survival in old age.

While true love exists, it’s far from unconditional. Unconditional love does not exist for people over 6 years of age. Unconditional help to survive does. It is easier to find help surviving than it is to find unconditional love. Reorder your priorities – you’ll never find unconditional love, but it’s more than possible to find collaborators.

In other words: Grow the fuck up.
