Life advice equally fit for both the Normal Person* and the Savants*!

This is surely a rare treat; a piece of advice that works equally for the Savants* as well as the Normal Person*, even if the approach to it will be different for each thinker type, lol!

If you want to belong, figure out what group you already fit the best with and which group you most want to be like and then work on yourself to become even more like that group of people. Once you feel you already fit in with them, or are close enough for them to smooth out any of your remaining edges, then, approach and make friends with them.

This is the golden rule. The way the Normal Person* will approach this will be different to the Savants* way of approaching it, but if the point is that you think about it from YOUR perspective: “Who do you admire? Who do you want to be like? Who do you want to impress, and who do you want to make proud of you?” The question is the same for both thinker types, even though their answer will be very different.

And for the Normal Person*: do everything in your power to try and resist the need to answer this question on behalf of someone else. It is not for you to answer this question on behalf of another person, no matter who they are and how much you love them; this question is for each individual separately to decide on and then to get to work on it! Also, resist the temptation of asking someone else’s opinion of what YOU should choose. There is no right or wrong answers here, and I know you hate that idea, but you know there are people in this world who you admire and respect more than anyone else, and those are probably the people who you would most want to impress.

The trick to joining the Savants* is understanding their deeper philosophy, no matter the sub-culture in question. What both thinker types will have to avoid is to beg to be coached when they’re still too far from making it.
