My answer to the purpose of life; to enjoy it
According to my Free Spirit Theory, the Universe is an exact replica of the imagination of our souls. It exists, because it can. We happened. I do not know how we became conscious, but we did, and the result of that consciousness is the physical reality that we live in. Then, what is the purpose of life if the Universe is here just because it can be? Is it really to learn life lessons? To what end? If life is a temporary state and we are here to learn life lessons, then surely the life lessons should be learned so we would know how to live life better, right? Is the purpose of life to give something to God? To a being who is everything and has everything – what could we possibly give him that he needs? But, think about this:
What is the purpose of having a garden party?
What is the purpose of playing music?
What is the purpose of throwing a ball through a hoop?
The purpose of life is to enjoy it. To live it. To experience it.
There is no reason for suffering. We suffer because we don’t think we should be enjoying ourselves or because suffering is the most exciting thing we can think of at the moment.
You see, humans are the first species who started wondering whether or not they had the right to lay in the Sun and just soak in the rays, or whether we should enjoy the food that we eat or whether we should enjoy the naked body of our lover next to us. We have the ability to reason, but we haven’t really mastered it yet. It is a learning curve.
As we reincarnate, we learn more stuff. We collect experience, and the experience we have collected in previous life time we call “instinct” and “natural talent”… And “physical beauty”. We are simply learning to become completely utterly happy. Even thinking was a result of the need to be happier; “I want to know what those shiny things in the sky are. I want to understand.” We learned to think rather than feel our way through life, and that has made us a bit of a mess… But that’s alright, it’s all a part of the process. Once we know what it is to live against our nature, we will be quite happy living by our nature. Even the suffering is exciting. Survivors of the greatest tragedies are people who live strongest.
What is the purpose of life, why are we here, living and breathing?
The answer, the way I see it, is to figure out how to spend an eternity without getting bored to death.
What is death? Finally becoming sick of your previous attempt to achieve complete, utter blissful happiness…
… or your hunger to start over because you had The Best Idea EVER!!
Why are we here?
To learn who we are and what makes us happy – each in our own way. We are here to craft the perfect life plan, so perfect, that we can’t wait to see another day of it, doing the same thing over and over and over again without getting bored, or find a way to live so that each of your days is filled with something so exciting, that death becomes nothing more than an inconvenience, because it certainly doesn’t bring new excitement into your life because there is too much excitement going on in your life.
We are here to live forever.
And if you consider the concept of “forever”… Can you imagine the inconceivable amount of time that it is? Obviously not, because it is inconceivable! Now, what if your purpose is to figure out how to live all that time… How completely insignificant does a paycheck sound to you right now? If someone thinks you’re baking your cakes wrong? If someone thinks that your life isn’t lived “the right way”? How much do you care about the rules or the society’s perspective of what or who you should be and how to live your life? Who the freak cares, right? The only thing that matters is this: You’re in, they’re in, we’re all equal in the right to choose the way we live, and we all have an eternity to spend in any which way we choose…
So how about it? What is the purpose of your life? YOUR life. YOUR existence. What will get you up in the morning… For the rest of eternity with another renewed excitement to see what the day brings? Can’t imagine? Tell you what. I know my answer, figure out yours… It’s easier than you’d think.
