No link between talking about emotions and emotions?

the Young Soul* may struggle to understand a link between emotions and talking about them or the trigger for them. If you say, “You did this,” no matter how clearly offensive it was, the Young Soul* cannot necessarily understand what that information relates to.

This doesn’t mean Dog-Type Thinkers don’t have emotions; they do. It’s just that they tend to lack empathy toward people who don’t think and act exactly like them. They may be very sympathetic, but they are not fully empathic. They may not understand that it still refers to real emotions if your voice doesn’t break. They don’t understand that emotions exist if you control and manage them well.

I asked someone what he thought his sister was talking about, and he said: “Her rights.” I asked: “Where did those rights come from?” He thought for a long time and said: “Human rights?” But added: “Perhaps I was thinking she’s superior or feels superior to us somehow, and thus, has more rights now that we didn’t know of before. Her new rights as the superior.” Even though she was mostly talking about her childhood traumas (with a deeply narcissistic mother).

When talking to a person who doesn’t seem to take your feelings seriously, you might have to verbally inform them that there is a link between your words and emotions – you’re talking about your emotions. They will understand you better after that… Better, maybe not perfectly, however.
