“No time wasters” as per the Elder Soul(s)* and the Young Soul(s)* definition.
If you ever see a “no time wasters” or some reference to “time wasters” in a dating profile, it’s more than likely the Young Soul(s)*’s profile, but if a Elder Soul(s)* would write it, they’d mean the complete opposite with it, again, than the Young Soul(s)* does.
A the Young Soul(s)* is looking for a monogamous commitment of some description. Therefore, “a time waster” is someone who is NOT looking to get married to the people they talk to at any length of time, or to marry them, as their PRIMARY and ONLY potential goal to dating. To a Elder Soul(s)*, a time waster is someone who is not even theoretically open to casual sex (in the meantime, as they’re looking for someone to get serious with) or someone who believes everyone is looking for a monogamous marriage and ignores everything you say about NOT looking for marriage in their dating profile.
To a Elder Soul(s)* (men and women alike), a time waster is someone not open to casual sex, even theoretically.
To the Young Soul(s)* (men and women alike), a time waster is someone not open to marrying them.
the Elder Soul(s)* are NEVER expecting to marry a person based on a few conversations.
the Elder Soul(s)* may be looking for marriage and true love and their ultimate romance, but they will NEVER (unless very religious) rule out casual sex, and DEFINITELY, they won’t rule out deep, meaningful conversations with someone with no intent to marry that person.
A the Young Soul(s)* guards their “secrets” as in any personal information as a dragon guards gold, but a Elder Soul(s)* will talk about the same stuff without any drama or difficulty at all. That makes the Young Soul(s)* think they’re heading toward marriage, but the Elder Soul(s)* is still in a chit-chat mode. (the Elder Soul(s)* are basically introverts, but introversion and the Elder Soul(s)* concepts are not 100% interchangeable, hence the different term.)
the Young Soul(s)* are NEVER looking for casual hookups for their own pleasure.
the Young Soul(s)* will never be looking for casual hookups, particularly online. If they are hooking up with someone, they need an audience. They are doing it to impress their friends, to prove they are brave enough (women) or stud enough (men) to have a casual sex relationship.
This means that when a Elder Soul(s)* stops for a conversation before casual sex, the Young Soul(s)* gets mixed signals because they want their casual relations entirely anonymous and cold. Elder Soul*, however, don’t wish non-connected sex, not even casually with strangers. (They may sometimes find a wordless connection however, but that would freak the Young Soul(s)* the heck out… The connection, not the wordlessness.)
Both the Elder Soul(s)* and the Young Soul(s)* are looking for something specific, but…
What both types agree on is that it is annoying when someone who is not even theoretically interested in the same type of interaction or relationship as they are is taking up their valuable time dating. What’s the difference is that the Young Soul(s)* assume too much about the other person’s intents, and that if you’re not SAYING that you want a marriage first and foremost, it should be obvious you do.
the Elder Soul(s)* find it irritating when people blatantly ignore what they say they want and assume that they, too, want to marry, and this whole profile (or similar) is just an act to impress people with.
