Politics by the Young Soul* and the Old Souls*
I recently emailed my web address to someone who is very much into politics and I realized I rarely if ever write about how all of this relates to politics. I’ve simply thought “oh they’ll figure it out, it’s clear as bell how it works, no?” The thing is, what we tend to forget is that politicians are people. As with all people there’s those two factions: the Old Souls* and the Young Soul*, who are battling to secure their own agenda into the policies in question. The Old Souls* want security for all people regardless of belief systems, political opinions, finances etc, while the Young Soul* want to create rules and structures that ensure survival for the deserving.
However, what a Old Souls* considers “deserving” is a very different matter to what the Young Soul* would consider “deserving”. The Young Soul* want people who adhere to the rules, they want to support people who follow the expectations – play along, if you will. The Old Souls* would not only allow everyone to keep living, they would financially reward those who make life easier for the most vulnerable. They’d reward people who “do good”, in the Old Souls* terms; often rewarding the rebellious, the ones who DESTROY the Young Soul* work.
Personal interest vs. the good of the many
I always say that the Young Soul* are after security, and the Old Souls* are after freedom. But the thing is, the Old Souls* want to ensure personal safety FOR EVERYONE EQUALLY, which, to the Young Soul* is a nonsensical or even revolting idea. Like feeding disease, if you will. The Young Soul* want to know what makes a person worthy of their standard of living, and do their best to adhere to those standards. The Old Souls* believe EVERYONE is worth saving. The Old Souls* don’t see the Earth and Universe to be limited in resources, particularly not so limited that there wasn’t enough wealth or good to go around and feed everybody.
the Young Soul* accept the battle for survival. In fact, they cannot keep their minds off it. They FEAR for their survival and for their RIGHT to survive. They believe they have to follow the rules to the tee to earn their right to breathe, whereas a Old Souls* believe they a) have the right to eat and breathe without a question b) don’t have a obligation to obey anybody or their rules, as long as they don’t HURT another person with their actions. Now, the Young Soul* don’t even believe there to be a person who wouldn’t hurt another person if it was financially beneficial to them, so they don’t trust other people AT ALL. They don’t want wealth and power distributed to those who don’t understand the fact not everybody can be trusted.
“The destructive”
As the Old Souls* are always looking to dismantle external power structures, the Young Soul* feel the Old Souls* are being destructive of society. Enemies of the society. Still, when the Young Soul* only want to ensure personal safety, they keep creating dangers for everybody but themselves, making themselves the enemy of everybody except their own person, and perhaps a few of their own family members. In their mistrust of all others they create direct enemies to themselves reinforcing their belief that people can’t be trusted.
the Young Soul* make under-the-table contracts, alliances, backup plans – I will say it straight: the Young Soul* are the corrupt politicians who the Old Souls* fear and hate with venom. The Young Soul* hate the Old Souls* with the same level of disgust, only, they cannot truly hate their own friends or family members, as they cannot get past the kin-bond, which is the only reason there isn’t an out-and-out war going on between the Young Soul* and the Old Souls*, as if the Young Soul* wants to destroy everybody who is a threat to them except their family members, but if they didn’t make an exception with their family members, who are largely the Old Souls*, they wouldn’t have anything stopping them from destroying everybody who didn’t adhere to their own private rules and beliefs.
Because the Young Soul* see all family as friends, the best thing they can do is to start the destruction of danger from foreigners. Nobody they know, right? However, with the Old Souls* influence, they can’t keep attacking other powers, because that creates more war and danger. Where the Old Souls* have learned to live and let live, the Young Soul* are still looking for a way to identify those who deserve to live and those who deserve to die out of malnourishment. If you ask a Old Souls*, IF there is a person who deserves to die of malnourishment and neglect, it’s the Young Soul*.
To sway the Young Soul* to do the right thing
In order to sway the Young Soul* into doing the right thing, you always have to appeal to their fear response. “Look, if you don’t give them food, they’re going to start a riot. They’re going to attack us/you.” The more powerful you make the potential threat, the more the Young Soul* will wish to keep friends with them. To the Young Soul*, it makes no sense to feed the starving kids in Africa (waste of money, they’ll die anyway) but if you’d put guns in the hands of the starving Africans and tell them they are about to start a war on the rest of the world if they don’t get food, the Young Soul* wish to help them would exponentially increase overnight. The Young Soul* do not respect the weak or the weary, they simply see powerful men and women worth saving.
There is NO WAY to tell which group of people is made up of the Young Soul* and the Old Souls*. As in, men are 50% one and the other, democrats, although more the Old Souls* in their official agenda, have about 50% of the Young Soul* among them as there are the Old Souls*. The same with Republicans, every race, every Yacht Club, and income bracket. They just got there differently and by different motives… And they stay there for different reasons.
Political radicals
the Old Souls* have always tried to band together and work to ensure safety for all, but they tend to also attack the Young Soul* a bit too much. Therefore, when the Old Souls* groups try to ensure safety, power, and fairness for all, our natural instinct tends to be the destruction of the Young Soul*, which doesn’t make us any better than the Young Soul* are. That makes us a direct enemy to the Young Soul*.
the Old Souls* are the only people who create new political ideas unless it’s purely for Instagram likes. The Young Soul* will say ANYTHING to make them look more “elite”. More deserving of their share of wealth, even if they don’t fully understand why people click ‘like’ on “feed kids in Africa” posts, they simply do. It is also the Old Souls* who fight the power, push for more equality, and exclusivity, and rattle the foundations of power.
Family values
The Young Soul* will always try to group their families together, whereas the Old Souls* rallies up ideological brothers and sisters. A Young Soul* will only rely on such a society if they are without blood relatives, who are the only people they trust (sometimes rather foolishly and naively). The Young Soul* will try and make a secondary alliance to others IF they are without living family members.
The Young Soul* will follow you into a gas chamber if you are a relative. They trust you fully, by blood. They will always stand for their family first, everybody else second, therefore, a politician with family values is effectively a ticking time bomb. If their family is in any way threatened or bribed, they will get corrupted real quick. However, the Young Soul* sees a corrupt politician differently: The one who sells out other politicians, the one who makes the elite less powerful.
The Young Soul* will make temporary alliances with people with a mutual interest, but their true loyalty lies with their own family only. They have an absolutely naive trust that their family will, at the end of the day, put aside their personal differences and band together. While it may feel counterproductive to point that out, the more the Young Soul* fears for their own INDIVIDUAL unsupported self, the better, because if they believe they are ALONE among strangers as they should, they’ll behave a ton better and wiser. They’ll go along with whatever is being told to them, as they fear strangers too much – and they should well be taught to fear a family member, too.
Stranger Danger
A Young Soul* that feels powerful and in charge, is a dangerous person. An the Old Souls* with the wrong ideas is a dangerous person. A Young Soul* will be corrupt and … well, tyrannical, a Old Souls* will stop at nothing to fulfill the demands of an ideology – no matter how misguided. A wise the Old Souls* will ALWAYS stop at killing people, and a wiser still will try and treat the Young Soul* like a fearful child. Put them into a space where they can’t hurt themselves until they are better socialized and learned to trust other people.
