Should you put in a good word for your friend?
As a Idealists*, my initial response to this would always be “not in a million years” unless you know how to be VERY DELICATE and know how to choose your words EXACTLY RIGHT. Most people don’t know how to pull this off successfully, and you might cause much more damage than you’d do good.
The reason for this is this: When it comes to adult relationships, having someone talk on your behalf makes you look VERY immature and insecure, and helpless. Inexperienced. A bit pathetic. HOWEVER, the Survivalist* are a little bit of a different thing. They don’t mind it, but I’d advise NEVER to get into it if you don’t know which type the intended is. You can permanently put that person off your friend with your interference.
If you are a Idealists*, you may, perhaps, talk to a Idealists*, if you are a dog-type, you can, perhaps talk to a dog-type, but crossing these lines guarantees you’ll say the wrong thing and emphasis the wrong thing… Also if you’re talking ABOUT a different type to your type… Risky. Very risky.
the Survivalist* like to provide social proof, however, so in a group of the Survivalist*, do as you see fit – you all operate the same way.
