What annoys me about “efficiency” motivators, is that they make you think like the purpose of your life would be… Well, efficiency. Constant, relentless efficiency. Stress about not stressing, stress to relax, rush around and worry if your every minute is spent to the fullest of it’s potential. If you enjoy the Internet, social media, […]

When you interact one-on-one with someone in real life, they will customize their expression and opinions to you, more or less. Most people don’t downright lie to your face, but some people actually do; from creating a fake backstory to just lying about liking the same music as you do. Creating an entirely new persona […]

When you get attacked by an Internet troll it has nothing to do with you. None whatsoever. You didn’t say anything wrong; you didn’t insult, anger, or outrage, but an internet troll attacked you MAINLY because you seem like a nice person. The logic here is thus: Nice people are good to have as friends. […]

So. There are nice, kind people in this world who don’t have to TRY to be nice, even though they sometimes feel the pressure to pretend they like you more than they do; they simply ARE nice and well-intentioned. Their biggest joy is to make people happy, to uplift them, and to help people grow […]

“Oh, but you’re not selfish at all!” a fan who has finally met you finds. While it’s nice to be nicer than expected, it’s hardly fun to have good people avoid your company because they believe nobody would LIE about a person and give them a bad reputation or put them in a bad light […]

Some people (dog-type) have a habit of signaling relaxation and that everything is fine by chit-chatting about nothing in particular. They make remarks about the weather, run a task list of things to do for the day, dappidedoodaa of nothing in particular when everything is fine. Some people, the Savants*, NEVER do this. This […]

This is a spiritual power tool that will make you AMAZING in no time flat, but it takes a TON of COURAGE to get started with. Nobody enjoys being disliked. Some people seem to enjoy or be indifferent to negative attention, but they seem to equate negative attention with jealousy and envy and think nothing […]

The online world used to be awesome when it took forward-thinking, progressive, and smart the Savants* to populate it. When the Normal Person* still scoffed at the whole idea as “stupid.” The Internet was a supportive, fun, humorous place where you could find your tribe quite easily among like-minded people. Not so much anymore. […]

This is kinda for my own True Emotion Mirrors and Precious Soulmates, but it may well apply to a lot of people; this thinking that we’re completely immune to signs of aging, invulnerable to any misuse of drugs, alcohol, over-eating, all over-indulgence, and that it’s utterly uncool to do anything about it when we notice […]
