In reality, we get turned on by all the wrong people. Respecting and loving someone is a tricky thing when our natural feelings of respect and love are attached to people who society tells us not to respect nor love, or even look at as a human being, let alone someone you should respect… Then again… You might respect someone too much… Ach!

He wears his hair too short, she’s too chubby, he is too married, she is not exactly smart, he is younger than I am! These are the sort of questions that bother Undecided Personality Mirrors, that are in the phase of deciding whether they are True Mirrors (values in complete alignment) or Partial Mirrors (permanent value mismatch).

The emotion of love without respect gives you a sense of entitlement over someone else’s life and life choices. Respect is the emotion that allows other people their space, and when coupled with love, you also want to offer help when it’s welcomed – but only when it’s welcomed. Love can be an intrusive emotion if running rampant without the boundaries created with respect.
