The bitter salt for the Idealists*, how the Survivalist* think YOU are the charity case.

It is understandable, really, why the Survivalist* would consider a lot of the Idealists* a charity case. So often, the Idealists* have unusual hobbies, business ideas, and other endeavors, that the Survivalist* think they are somewhat unable to handle the real world.

This is true, to an extent, but not for the same reason as the Survivalist* think. The Survivalist* think the Idealists* are afraid of taking on a real job. They think the Idealists* avoid taking responsibility because they fear they might not be able to handle that responsibility. That they’d fuck up somehow and let others down.

The Survivalist* chip in by giving the Idealists* some easy tasks to handle, to raise their self-confidence. One of the smartest people I know is made to run errands for his family because not even his family realizes he’s a high genius. The stuff he could do is stuff his family doesn’t think to ask, as only unusually smart people could. Similarly, the Idealists* don’t ask anyone to do stuff they’d do in their sleep, knowing others couldn’t hack what they do.
