When the Idealists* fall in love, they typically do it at first sight. When the Survivalist* fall in love at first sight, it tends to mean they feel ambitious attraction; they see someone they believe can and will lift their status and stability.

When the Survivalist* then goes after that person, they eventually realize their “love at first sight” was ill-advised, and they then believe that love at first sight isn’t reliable, as you don’t really know that person. To a Idealists*, that experience is very different. To them, loving someone is not a question of whether you can trust that person, rely on them, or whether they’ll have any impact on your wealth or status. It’s just an involuntary reaction to someone who they find lovable, and that other stuff doesn’t count… At all on how they feel about that person.

That’s one of the reasons why the Idealists* cannot take love & relationship advice from the Survivalist*.
